Ugh, Landry reminds me of Henne. No thank you.
    I do like RGIII though.

I don't think in any way Moore is the solution, but I think he's ok enough to keep the seat warm for a rookie. You never exactly know how the 4th or 5th QB taken will perform. I think history has shown that you can get a damn fine QB outside of the top 8 or 12 picks, where ever we may fall.

Yeah I think RGIII could be special. Landry is probably last on my list of those 5. I'm sure if/when I go and look at some other QBs and see what's shakin' come combine time I'll probably waffle my opinion quite a bit :)

Too early for that Vt, now if MMoore and the O continues to roll, and we win 3 of 4..then maybe.

We beat the patriots in Foxboro that would go a long way imo.

I am curious about this as well. I wonder if the players will do anything to try to influence Ross to keep him, since they clearly play their asses off for Tony. With all of Sparano's shortcomings, you can't deny the players still play hard for him.

Eh, tough tough call VT, I suspect Sparano needs a fresh start, maybe the franchise does as well as Sparano style, grind grind grind, will burn him out sooner or later.

I am enjoying the ride ATM..and MMoore improving..and that SFL stuff looking more and more absurd.

odd feeling, ain't it? I don't think you're alone there, either.

They just walloped the chiefs, skins, bills, and raiders...while giving the cowboys everything they could handle until 1 second left in the game...
I get that the wins were against "bad" or struggling teams, but that's what good teams do against bad and struggling teams...whip 'em. We're not beating these guys with "plan A" either..it's Matt Moore and Reggie Bush igniting the offense, which I think is a credit to Daboll

Well, the thing is, if Suck for Luck was absurdly reactionary, so is "bring them all back", this is a marathon VT, no need to get to high or to low, just observe the results.

Reminds me a bit of 05, lil nicky's first yr, when we won when it did not matter, that lead to some horrible personnel decisions, of all things I do not want to see that repeated.

-we let Frerotte walk because "he was just a backup"
-we passed on Brees because "the medical staff would not clear him"
-we picked up C-pepe, and ignored his issues in so doing
-we drafted guys who fit Saban's systems, most are out of the league

All 4 are easily avoidable..if Ross is solely ojective in making his decisions this offseason.

That's the first step in the Mayan prophecy for 2012. Amazing some of these fan's seem to get a jolly out of being mediocre.

I don't think bring them all back is reactionary at all, particularly because I prefaced that with "if they continue to win". We didn't let Frerotte walk because he was a back up either. Miami jumped at a chance to improve the position with Culpepper or Brees. Frerotte wanted to start, that chance wasn't here. Nick Saban was correct in trying to upgrade the position, we just didn't choose the correct guy.

The same with Matt Moore. If their is an upgrade the team believes is available go get him. That is the same for all positions, even LT. Only problem is that Long is elite, so there isn't that option.

We have some serious talent, more than I was led to believe. It's clear that with solid QB play, this team is capable of really good things. Matt Moore will be back because of his contract and his play. However, that shouldn't stop the team in upgrading the position if it's available.

If the team continues to win, Tony and Jeff deserve the chance to be back. The 0-7 start is inexcusable, but to finish off an 8-1, 7-2 tear demonstrates clear adjustments being made and figuring something out. To completely disregard that would be a poor misstep by management, IMO.

Oh my no, that is not what I'm enjoying, it is the reckoning for the "suck for luck/we should lose" faux fans who've painted themselves into a corner.

When we lost, which was their desire, they were happy to see the team lose, huzzah!, now that we are winning, they have no place to go, just sour grape and mutter a bit, or create wild trade down theories that have a snowball's chances in hell of ever happening.

Not happy when we win is not a fun place to be to be sure, and that is quite fun to see.

Yeah this winning has put us in a pretty crappy position. If this team had played like this all year we wouldn't even be thinking about firing Sparano. So do we blame the lockout and just chalk it up to the team not being ready, or do we blame Sparano who couldn't even contact his team for not having them ready??

I really wouldn't mind losing Sparano really, the problem is what with a new coach comes new everything else, and I dont know that I want Daboll and Nolan to walk. Interesting situation we have put ourselves in.

Not going to lie, I was on the SFL train. Not really ashamed about it, but I'm not going to cry over wins anymore. Especially when it's due to our younger players stepping up and showing promise for next season.

Nothing personal but it was blatantly obvious the SFL's would change their tune.
I mean rooting for your team to lose. That is fairly low and ridiculous.

What I could not understand was the celebrations of..losing, even hoping for losses.

To me, if you wind up with the #1 overall your team is horrible, and it goes beyond just having no Qb, your team is just bad, only 1 team rebounded from being that bad to make the playoffs, us. but 2007 was so terrible I'd gladly pass on Luck or whomever.

But that is not up to me, if we wound up with the #1 overall, it would be painful, but fine, however to hope to end up with it was just over the top for me.

Don't read to much into this one Deej, MMoore's performance has been slippin bacwards, he needs a quality game in terms of accuracy to right the ship.

We took advantage of a Raiders team that was ill prepped to play and missing pieces, put it this way, Tebow was more accurate then MMoore was today.

Great game! Great to see Reggie Bush showing his stuff finally. It would be nice to see him break 1000 yards rushing. I think either way he's earned a chance to be the starter again next season. We are cookin with Bush and Marshall right now and the youngs are really playing well. Thats all I can ask for after the 0-7 start.
Also....It's clear to me now why we signed Kevin Burnett. He's earned his money during this second half of the season. A few minor tweaks to the defense need to be made before we are a dominant one but we are close.

My thoughts on Matt Moore at this point are basically until he actually "loses" us a game the way we have seen Chad Henne do...He should remain the starter. Until a QB comes in and outplays Moore....He should remain the starter. Going into next season I think Moore is the guy but I am still hoping with all hope that either Matt Barkley or Robert Griffin are here in waiting.
Matt Moore is a backup QB starting and holding it down right now in the NFL.
