It is AMAZING when a team actually utilizes the playmakers.... BM and Reggie Bush properly what will happen. I like Matt Moore.... a alot.
Exactly, and his last 5 games MMoore has been fire, just playing as well as any Qb in the NFL. Do think Penny had a better Qbr in 08, but MMoore has a better arm.
Moore hasn't left too much out there to be honest, not IMO, but again I haven't been simply glued to the game. He started off poorly statistically as he had 2 drops and the tipped pass to Bess in the redzone that likely was a TD. He has missed some throws, granted, but there have also been hurt in some instances by means other than his own. He hasn't just held the ball in the pocket - he has scrambled a few times which is an improvement even in only an off hand instance. He's played well and he lead the offense to 27 points. That's not bad by any means. I feel its as though fans (not you specifically, just referencing the concept) don't want to give him a chance because there is a feeling that we HAVE to draft a QB high next year. Its almost as if because we haven't done it in so long and every other channel up til now has failed we HAVE to do this. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against drafting a quarterback next year by any means, but the reality is we won't lose the final 4 games, not the way we have been playing the month or so. I just don't see it. If that is the case, we will be out of the Top 5, maybe even the Top 10 depending on how many more games we win.
I think you nailed it Conu, this is one of the reasons why a Qb like RG3 makes sense..for us. Think of it as a double down at the Qb position, either way the hole would be finally filled. MMoore is playing well enough that it would make sense.
Why is Moore still out there right now? Take some of your starters out Sparano, this should be the last drive you see some of these guys, take out Jake too please.
OT: Anybody here watch NFL TurningPoint on Versus? I wonder what the turningpoint of this game will be lol.
