I'm actually hoping to start writing my first book soon. But I have to do a little research for it first. It is weird because I have to somehow figure out how to fill close to 300 pages, if not more in order for it to even be viable. Which means I am going to have to write something that will keep people's attention for that long a time...ooof. That alone seems too daunting to even start.

Sorry, I should have clarified. My mother used to write country western music. I stumbled across some songs from the 70's that she wrote and had tucked away. I am talking stereotypical country songs. Man not treating her right (go dad!), the dog being dumb (go Arlo!) and every other cliche ever. You know, bad in a good way, not Gigli bad.

So anyways, I pilfered the lyrics, bought an old record, painted it gold and need to find a way to mount it like the real gold records. This is her mother's day present as I hate the traditional flowers and candy bs. Besides, my mom doesn't eat candy...or flowers.
