InsidetheU reporting Ray Ray Armstrong out vs. FSU for recent involvement with a sports agency. If true, how in the **** can you be so dumb?
Sad but true, anally raping a 10 yr old is not in the NCAA's purview. As for "us" remains to be seen, I'm optimistic, but then again, the NCAA could drop the hammer at which point, or prior to it, Golden can jet for PSU.
Don't get me started on the NCAA. Covering up child molestation and having 30+ arrests on your team in 5 years get no penalty but a booster buying a kid drinks at a club... Meanwhile academic fraud gets very light punishment.
Yep, it's true. Dammit, Ray Ray... "Miami safety Ray-Ray Armstrong will not play Saturday against Florida State, and school officials are checking to see if he broke NCAA rules by having dinner with someone who owns a public relations firm that works with professional athletes. Armstrong has not practiced this week because of what Miami described as a violation of team rules. He served a four-game suspension to start the season after a separate investigation determined he broke NCAA rules by accepting gifts from a former Miami booster, and was also ordered to repay $788. This latest situation stems from a dinner he had Sunday night -- and what was said on Twitter after the meal." http://espn.go.com/college-football...s-checking-ray-ray-armstrong-broke-ncaa-rules
And Driskel was the one who got garbage time PT 2 of the 3 first weeks of the season. He was the one that entered the game when Brantley came out of the Alabama game with injury. And he was the one who was slated to start the LSU game until his ankle injury. I wouldn't call starting because of injuries as making the right choice. But then again I also don't really care because all 3 Florida QB's have looked like complete ***, and I'm quite happy with what we have. I wish him luck though.
Because the plan was to redshirt Brissett. Now that that's out the window and both guys are healthy, he's been the clear cut #2 guy and has been getting the PT. They all have been terrible though.
Well like I said, I wish him well. I'm not the type to insult him and **** like I alot of people did on the Canes boards. If he turns out to be the future for Florida, won't be the first time I've been wrong, won't be the last. I applaud that he's not afraid of competition, which I can't say for a lot of the players Randy Shannon recruited. Hell in that post I was quite wrong about Jacory. Kids been terrific this year, wasn't expecting that.
If they didn't throw a fade on FSU's midget DB's I was going to be livid. Jedd Fisch shall not be doubted.
Refs killing any mo we get, reviewing all of our big plays, calling holds all of a sudden, add in our qb switching crap: here's the game FSU.
Wow it's only half time? Seems like it's a lot longer, thank you refs for reviewing every single play, what a joke!
Changing the channel. Can't bear to hear these ESPN clowns talk about Patenro and Penn State the entire halftime as if Penn State wasn't covering up a coach raping 10 year olds in their showers.
Damn, that was a crappy game. The offensive playcalling was strange all game and the package with Morris has got to stop. Jacory is having a hell of a season, you need him out there, not a true sophomore who has yet to prove himself. Defense was meh. DBs stunk it up like usual, D line was better than normal. Overall, just a bunch of mental mistakes. Mistakes they have usually made the past 5 years.
I suspect we suffer with that until the Shannon recruiting classes work their way out of the system, Shannon landed wildly talented athletes, however these are not high football IQ guys week in and week out.
The Benji punt return turnover was possibly the dumbest thing I've ever seen on a football field. I just don't get how someone can be that dumb.
It's like that every week, the team has talent, but won't do much as the talent is more of the "run around real fast and do stuff" rather then "use my physical skills in a controlled manner to blow this game open"
Pretty much. Shannon's players not only possess no football IQ whatsoever, they're soft. How many times do we have to see one of our players lay a big hit on someone, just to injure themselves? ****ing *******. We pretty much lost this game instead of FSU winning it. We played much, much better defense than I was expecting. Lamar Miller ran it pretty well. You would of told me that before the game I would said we easily won the game. But... turnovers, dumb *** players pretty much sealed our fate. Mike Williams blows, whatever safety allowed that first Manuel TD blows, Benjamin blows, Jacory played like the Jacory we all know, Stephen Morris Wildcat playcalls every other play blows, our punt coverage has been solid all year picked the wrong game to blow, seriously Greg Reid went up the middle on a PR untouched SMH. It's not even morning and I already feel hung over we blew so bad. I'd rather FSU just blown us out like last year instead of watching us give them the game on a silver platter.
