Hey it's news.... You'd have to think he's an upgrade over our current #23 Steve Slaton, who has not seen much of the ball. If we're going to get Slaton, not an opposite to Reggie Bush, you'd expect we'd put in a waiver claim for Choice. I believe the Colts have a higher waiver priority than us, so they could beat us to him. Yes another former Cowboy.

Choice would actually be a good pickup for now and the long-term.

Pick him up and Bodden up. See if you can get depth for a low price.

If we don't claim him Ireland is an idiot. Bring him in and see what he has to offer. Like was said earlier, he could be a nice addition for next year.

If everyone is in agreement then there is no way Ireland will sign him.

Sillies; we only claim/sign the mediocre and bad players from Dallas. Get it right.

I like Choice. Hard inside runner. Not much of a second gear but tough as hell.

As to Bodden, IDK, seems to me if NE gets rid of a guy, there's a very good reason for it... Besides, we need S help and converting Bodden or any of our current CBs to S at this point seems useless.

As for Choice, Sparano has really forced the issue with Thomas and Bush. Even when he had LJ as the #3, we never saw him. Now it's Slaton in that spot...how much of him have we seen ?? Seems if he thinks Thomas and Bush both need breathers or aren't effective, he puts in Sexy Lexy...I don't see much difference between Slaton, LJ and Choice....all are mediocre backs at this point...

Met him a few times while at Georgia Tech and was a dude looked like a tree stump with legs. Not saying he's the next Alstott but we'lll kick the tires on him because Ireland can't help by dumpster dive Da Boys.

His career average is 4.6 yds per carry. He's only 26. I don't see how his numbers equate with "sucks".

Now we just need someone with last name Strange. Thats some Strange Choice of Bush or the Bush above her Strange was top Choice!

No, A-Pete would only mess up SFL so honestly at this point....no he doesnt. Going 3-13 and is actually worse then 1-15 at this point. This year is the Anti-Al Davis....when youre already 0-6 and you know Andrew Luck is going to be there at 1, then long term you might be better off losing. Never thought I would actually say that :(

Not only would he be a great pickup, but he makes perfect sense, being that he is a former cowboy.

he also ran the wildcat effectively...great ball skills, and physicality.

here is the problem though...Ireland doesn't like the good Cowboy players. he only signs the ****ty ones. so don't bank on it.

Probably because he tends to find the absolute worst times to fumble.

Just what we need, another cut player, and from Dallas nonetheless. Maybe this will be the spark we need to turn the season around.

Both. He will run hard and score points, but then fumble when we are in position to win the game. See Matt Moore.

you have to look at him at not just an addition this year, but also going into next season. You put DT and Choice on the roster, who knows what the next regime will think of Reggie Bush. But it gives you some roster flexability at a position you don't currently have.

In a Mike Shanahan backfield? Choice will be a completely random out-of-left-field starter. And then he'll lose the job for a couple weeks, get it back, repeat.

Which I believe means we didn't put in a claiim as we are higher in priority than they are. Unless we are still going by last year's records, which I don't think we are.
