with so many undefeated teams this year (up to 10 games have been played already) i'm shocked there hasn't been any threads about college basketball yet. anyways, i've already been getting my fix, just wanted to open this to any other fans out there. p.s. TARHEELS 4 LIFE!
UCLA all the way. It's all about the Love. Kevin Love. Hopefully they'll win it all before I graduate.
The game of basketball has changed period. Fundamentals are a thing of the past. Its all about shooting threes and dunks, and fancy crap that turns into just that, crap. Some of its still worth watching, but a good part of it isnt.
true, the NBA has also lost a lot of luster. I loved both NCAA and NBA in the 90s. A lot has happened since then. I was young, but i still remember watching those old school georgetown teams with dikembe and alonso. used to love them
here's a question, has Michael Beasley had a better freshmen season than Kevin Durant? Remember that Durant had Augustine,Abrams, and James on his team while Beasley only has Billy Walker.
I don't really have a fave college basketball team even thought I graduated from Colorado and ASU. I just love to see good matchups like UNC and Duke, UCLA and the U of A, UCONN and Georgetown, etc. I love March Madness.
I hear ya. Basketball used to be great back then but it's still fairly good now. But since I get to watch one of the top teams in the nation pretty much free, I'm liking it even more.
im going to see oregon state vs ucla on the 26th(i think)...basically going to watch oregon state dominate
****ing Winthrop and their 3 point shooting. Canes end the 2007 calendar year like they started it, unranked. We really should've been 14-0 going into ACC play. I'm a Heat fan too and since we blow horribly, I've been watching all of Memphis' primetime games to see Derrick Rose. I'd love to see either him, Michael Beasley, or DeAndre Jordan in a Heat uniform next year.
The rate the Heat are going, they very well could be a high lottery pick. Amazing to think we could have the worst team in the NFL and NBA.
North Carolina STATE fan here. And as much as it pains me to say so (and believe me..it does), the Heels are looking mighty strong this year. Should go to the final four at the worst, and most likely will win it all. Their first real test will be this weekend at Clemson.
