In other words you're allowing the mainstream media (and all their bias) to tell you how to think? :shifty:

Which doesn't count, because the Dolphins used the Wildcat very well that year. Henne rode the backs of Ricky WIlliams and Ronnie Brown.

Could happen if the Rams get the #1 overall pick. Jerry Jones loves great talent.

    Really? Let's go over those.

1 of those wins was completely due to this guy, in 2009.

The other win was on Monday Night Football, the same year in 2009.

Henne had a great pass to Ted Ginn Jr for the TD. But the game was won due to the Wildcat. I have the game on DVD and just re-watched it the other night. We shoved the Wildcat down the Jets throats. Henne didn't win that game at all.

I can't recall the other win right now.

Busting my a** at work, while getting paid, does not give me brownie points if I am bad at my job.

Henne made a ton of money, more than a doctor makes, and he got to be famous and land any woman he wanted in Miami.....and got to play starting QB for the Dolphins for almost 3-4 seasons and amounted to nothing.

Forgive me while I say good riddance to the man who gave everyone false hope and left our team 0-4 with his bad QB play.

Now Sparano is going to go down with the ship too. Which to me, sucks, because I feel bad for the guy. A coach can only be as good as his players perform out there.... and a crappy 2nd rate quarterback who is afraid to make big plays and is incapable of good leadership skills is one of the biggest reasons we are 0-4 this season, and we underachieved last season and the year before that.

If anyone wants to hate someone, hate Henne.

I like Henne. But the Dolphins aren't taking the Alex Smith route if they end up with a high draft pick.

you are such a trip, electrolyte. You incessantly scapegoat Henne for losses when the TEAM is playing sloppy and unsound football..... but when the TEAM wins, you credit the team and dismiss Henne. Can you be more hypocritical. If you're giving the TEAM credit for its past wins vs NY when we play well AS A TEAM, then you need to blame the TEAM for losses when they play poorly AS A TEAM.

BTW, I love how you criticize Henne for not having 4th quarter comebacks etc, yet you completely dismiss Henne's game winning TD throw against NY and give all the credit to Ginn. Lmao.

Your above quote was hypocritical, but this one takes the cake!
The wildcat won the game huh?
Henne threw for 110 yards and 2 TDs in the 4th quarter, but he didn't win the game at all? :sidelol:

    20 of 26, 241 yards, 2 TDs, and a 130 QBR. Total non contribution. <sarcasm>

The other win was in the rain in NY. It was an awesome performance by our defense.

First win: great special teams. Henne throws game winner.
2nd win: Great performance by Henne balanced by a solid ground game. Another great 4th quarter by Chad.
3rd win: Outstanding defense. Henne threw the game's only TD.

You see, electrolyte, that's what good teams do routinely. They find ways to win AS A TEAM without having to stick it on the QB week after week.

He's a tough guy, no doubt. However, he isn't the right fit for us and this team. There is just no way without winning or leading the offense to points in his time here that he can have the confidence of his team. The fault, of him, the players, coaches, whomever, it is what is. I hope he moves in elsewhere and I hope he winds up having a fine career elsewhere.

If he does, I'll never think what if, because I know that he could never do it here. Too much damage done.

How about we not 'hate' anybody?

It's sports. We're all passionate about it. But we shouldn't personally dislike someone who committed the ultimate injustice of not being born with certain gifts from above. A guy who truthfully conducted himself better than majority of the the people watching him. Not everyone considers fame to be this great thing you strive for. I know I wouldn't want it. And Chad Henne brought his high school sweetheart with him to South Florida and married her. Humble guy who simply kept his head down and gave his all.

If this guy simply did not possess the skills to be a superstar at his job, you need to be upset with the people that hired him. He didn't ask to be the QB of the Miami Dolphins -- a position that carries much abuse and expectation -- out of college. He willingly embraced the opportunity, but he had no choice in where he worked. Parcells and his crew drafted and anointed him. It's THEIR job to hire the right guy. If Henne was a backup-caliber quarterback, they should have acquired him as such. Henne never bragged, never complained, never said a word.

If you have to bash someone for being low-risk, hate the coaches who trained him to play that way. Because in one season with a new, aggressive OC, he became a much different quarterback if you've been able to see the games. It's difficult for me to reconcile someone having such deep sympathy for the head coach who mandated and co-signed that failed, flawed previous philosophy and none for the guy saddled with carrying it out. A guy who sought a third opinion -- after the first two said 'surgery' -- to play thru a major injury for your crappy 0-4 team. We ask for guys to sacrifice everything, and **** on them even when they do.

False hope? That's Bill Parcells. The guy who showed up, put it all in place then snuck out the backdoor halfway thru, took all the money and now criticizes the very thing he built -- anonymously and later from his cushy chair at ESPN.

Electro, You killed Henne. YOU BASTARD!!!

No forgiveness here. You have no reason to accuse Henne of giving false hope. If any player gives his best effort for the betterment of our team, he deserves the respect of Dolphans, NOT their hate. JMO

Years down the line it wouldnt surprise me if Henne was mislead or forced to have this surgery right now.

total props for his toughness...wish it would have worked out.

Henne got a raw deal here in Miami with the coaching, the players around him and the horrible fan base. Plus his so called #1 WR can't catch a cold and is allergic to the EZ.
    Good luck to you Chad.
I don't expect you to come back. I mean in reality why would you after all the garbage you dealt with.
You gave it one hell of a shot but it was like clapping with one hand.

you are absolutely right. I don't hate Henne, btw.

My sentence was, "if anyone wants to hate someone"........ more directed towards all the hate I see everyone else getting. I think it was unfair. Marshall has a long track record of being an elite receiver, and now suddenly come to MIA and stops caring. THis is like Moss in Oakland......... he doesn't believe in Chad Henne.

I am a firm believer that Chad Henne has stunted this offense with his QB play. In previous years, we had Ricky and Ronnie and the wildcat to lead this team.

You can blame Sparano if you want. Henne is the one on the field throwing the ball.

I was listening to an interview with Chad Pennington the other day on 790. He basically said that when he was leading this Dolphins team, he would go to coach and tell him "I don't like this play. Give me something I can work with"....... he would ask for different plays that he felt would be better in that situation. He would ask for more options on plays. He would LEAD the offense MUCH BETTER.

Henne has poor leadership skills, is not a cerebral QB, and even though he has a better arm than Pennington, was not making the throws that produce big plays.

It's clear as day to me, that the #1 problem on this offense was the QB. You can blame the OLINE, you can blame Marshall for dropping some passes, go ahead. Marshall lost faith in this QB a long time ago, and other QB's make do with sub-standard OLINE play (Pittsburgh)..... I don't accept 13-17 pts every week, our 1 TD and 3 FG's every week. But because Henne isn't out there throwing 4 INT's, you think he's OK.
