If you can, watch Keith Price from Washington. Kid is a sophomore, and he looks absolutely legit. Excellent field vision, throws a great ball both stationary and on the run. Always upbeat, and scared me to death when they played Nebraska. Kid is an absolute gamer.
Sammy Watkins from Clemson is unbelieveable. He is averaging 110 y/g and had especially big games against Auburn and FSU scoring 2 TDs each game. The thing is he is only a Freshman. This kid is something special.
Clemson loaded, Dwayne allen is a beast as well..Really want to watch some others OB's besides the big three, Russell wilson, Tannehill, Robert Griffin.
I am all over watching Russell Wilson tonight. But I am actually more interested in watching Taylor Martinez and Co. outrun the molasses like D of UW. Robert Griffin is a Man among boys. And that last TD run was downright amazing. Who said effin Baylor could be that deadly?
I know you are really interested in the big games......but the AF vs Navy game may end of being the best of the day by far....wow. Amazing comeback by midshipmen, but an OT missed Xtra point costs them.
That's what the boss said EDIT: SO glad Nebraska left the Big XII, Baylor may jam that ball DEEP down our throats. I will call my shot here Baylor is in the top 2 of the conference this year.
It will be so interesting if Griffin comes out with Russell Wilson, to see how these players will perform at the end of the year, combine, allstar games will make this years QB draft very interesting.
That would give Luck, Barkley, Wilson, Griffin, Weeden(maybe), Tannehill.....not a bad class. Perhaps the Phins will have one of these guys fall into their laps.
That's a major oops, thanks for the pickup. Man I am rather impressed with RGIII! Quick release, super accurate.....makes great choices....(til the fumble lol)
Lol I wrestled with Sammy constantly at my friends house. Pin his ***, too. Now he runs circles around the country's Defenses. How bout Grffin? 18tds 17 incomoletions on the year.
Very interested to watch the Alabama vs. Florida game tonight. Interested to see Courtney Upshaw (the Dolphins could use an OLB that gets to the QB), Dre Kirkpatrick, and Dont'a Hightower (another player Miami could use). Trent Richardson is always fun to watch as well. Wasn't that impressed with Robert Griffin III. Don't like his delivery. My buddy is pulling the ultimate sports day and heading from the Brewers playoff game to Madison for the UW vs. Nebraska game. If there's one campus I've been to that I'd always go back to, it's MadTown. Best gameday atmosphere I've ever been to at a college game.
man I love those Bama girls, their not the cheerleaders their some other group {don't know their name} that dresses like their in the forties type style?, so sexy man.
Against Kansas State? No, not really. He threw a pick that cost them the game in crunch time as well.
Upshaw had a huge TFL and a pick 6 in the last possession. He's also gotten consistent pass-rush. To me, he's a LaMarr Woodley clone, which is something this defense could really use opposite Cameron Wake. Also, keep an eye on Trey DePriest (think he's #33). I'm not sure how much he'll play tonight as he's a true freshman, but he's the real deal. Likely Dont'a Hightower's replacement.
Dre Kirkpatrick is a CB I love to watch as well. Yeah, he got beat deep on the first play by Florida, but man, he's a pretty sound player. Plays the run a lot like Vontae Davis, if not better. Essentially, I could watch Alabama play defense all day long. Would love to see the Dolphins add Upshaw or Hightower.
Last year I went up to visit my buddy there and we hit a brewery tour in Milwaukee Friday night, got up early and drove to Madison to watch College Gameday. We proceeded to camp out a bar and at his dad's tailgate (which is huge) and saw the OSU vs. Wisconsin game. We drove to Green Bay the next morning to catch the Dolphins vs. Packers game. Talk about a great sports weekend. Wisconsinites can put back some cold ones. Seriously.
Who cares if it was Kansas State. 5 touchdowns is 5 touchdowns. I also don't see his delivery as an issue. I like him a lot as a prospect.
His delivery isn't as elongated as Byron Leftwich, or even Colin Kaepernick's was last year, but it'll get him in trouble in the NFL. I'm not impressed with the 5 TDs because it was against Kansas State. Let's keep some perspective as to who he's put up these numbers against. TCU, whose not nearly as good as they were a year ago, Stephen F. Austin, Rice, and Kansas State. I'm just not that impressed by it. Hawaii's Bryant Moniz put up 7 TDs last week against UC-Davis; does that seem impressive? I think Griffin could be a nice mid-round prospect or even transition to a receiver and be used like Antwan Randle-El, Hines Ward, or Brad Smith.
I'm more familiar with Barron than Lester. I think Barron's a pretty good player. I'm not especially impressed with his speed, but he reminds me of how Saban used Renaldo Hill when he was coaching Miami in 2005-06. Barron knows his assignments, gets the secondary lined up, and I've not seen him miss a tackle. Is he Ed Reed, well, no, but he's a pretty smart player. I guess if you were going to hold my feet to the fire, I'd rather Miami go after someone like Michael Griffin from the Titans who'll be a free agent next year than try and make Barron their FS. To me, Barron is too similar to what we already have in Clemons and Jones. As for Lester, just haven't seen him enough to give a fair evaluation. Of any of the 'Bama defenders I'd like the Dolphins to add, it'd be Upshaw. He's a force off the edge, and you could really tell the difference when he got healthy last year. He hasn't stopped since.
I think he would play well, regardless of competition. Its a wait and see on that, though. As for his delivery, I don't see it being an issue at all. No way he switches positions, at all. Kid is a QB. I can see him going in the first. Second at the latest.
