Why do I feel I just read a post from Anthony Robbins? Look I like positive thinking. I think it does good to keep people motivated to overcome obstacles. Having said that, fans "believing" their team will be better does nothing to solve legitimate issues. LOL. The team has clear problems not only in personnel but in leadership and strategy. Your not going to fix those personnel problems at this point in a season and Sparano is who he is at this point. We'll win some games but there is no reason to "hope" for anything above a ceiling of what we accomplished last year and I think that's pushing it.
Believe me, I understand what you mean. I just think there is always a chance something good could happen.
That is how I see it: win it one game at a time...hopefully in the end it is enough to get into the playoffs and get one win at a time.
LOL you have a very good point. Since I can't play the game (except Madden) as a fan all I can do is believe and hope they will win. When they lose it takes me a few days but then I am back to rooting for a win next Sunday. But that's me....
I know all about 2009 starting 0-3 and the Dolphins had a nice middle after that and controlled their own destiny, but collapsed in December. They got to 7-6 the past two years and failed. Pretty much exactly why I'd still have very little hope of a playoff appearance even if they beat SD and NYJ. Cant his team really go 10-3 or even 9-4 from here on out? Doubtful. 7-9 again would be just as bad as 3-13. At least with 3-13 you can draft a possible franchise QB to compete with Henne under a new staff if they wanted that...and you'd have no place to go but up from there in 2012. Either way it sucks and is frustrating for right now.

Well, with 1 win, in this situation, it could change the season's purpose..We know that the team has acknowledged that their playing for their coach's job, so if they win it will have meant that they at least came together as a team and beat a quality opponent on the road..Then you have the bye to gain some more enthusiasm, and you have the pivitol game of the season, lose that, were toast, win that, and we have a purpose..Now I don't care to debate whether we are or not gonna win, I'am just saying from a fans perspective, with the coaches tenure firmly entrenched in the players mind, their performance on sunday will tell us everything we need to know...As men, as a team, they have 1 week left to show us they wanna compete this year or give up..
Brother, I know what you're feeling. Something good can always happen and it's why they play the game. i really don't see either game of us winning this year but I do expect we will win a couple anyway.
Don't get me wrong, even tho I don't think we'll win doesn't mean I'm not rooting or hoping for one. It's just that year after year, these bad gut feelings pop up and they're usually right.
I feel ya man, I know what you mean. Each time an interception is thrown or a touchdown is allowed drives me crazy and makes me want to turn off the t.v. and I start thinking 1-15. I don't want to think that way so I hope the next play or next game will be better than the last.
