I have been a Dolphins supporter for over 35 years. In that time we have seen good and bad. You play to win the game, not be conserative and afraid for your job. If that is the situation then you MUST dismiss a coah that plays not to win but not to loose. This is just my opinion nothing to start a flame, I just think that it's apparent. Can the season be turned around, I believe so but I don't see it with this particular coach.
    IMO:tantrum::pity:

Mr. Ross - FIRE SPARANO NOW!

    Mr. Ross,

Seriously? I mean do you really believe that anyone want's to pay to see the utter crap of a team you allowed to be assembled?
I don't live in Florida anymore so I support this team via paying for the NFL Sunday ticket. Man do I wish I could get that money back now! It's painful watching this garbage you call a team!

Your TEAM Sucks, Your coach who you gave an extension to because you felt guilty about screwing the pooch this off season SUCKS, his "friend" who traveled with you to hire a new coach and you consider a GM SUCKS, Your Defensive coordinator must be crying at nights with the lack of talent you have provided. Nolan was a great Defensive coordinator, but now well HE SUCKS TO! Your new Offensive guru who SUCKED last year can't make any adjustments and oh HE SUCKS AS WELL! I mean not ONE RUNNING PLAY in the last drive seriously?

I will admit Henne, has been better this year I give you that but man when it counts and the game is on the line well HE SUCKS TO! I am starting to think there is a sickness in South Florida and you are scared to call the doctor thats why you crawl back to the scum of New York and secretly wear your Jets Jersey.

Mr. Ross. It's Over your team will go into the by without a win. Pull the trigger give the fans, and the players a shot of reality. When you SUCK you get canned.
I don't care if we win again this season as long as I know this entire staff is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact I will go BUY a new jersey the day you man up and do what needs to be done.

Mr. Ross. Stop bringing in stars and putting on Bull**** shows in the crowds to make a party at the stadium. How about you PAY a real coach, a real GM and Spend all that cash on Players. We want to support you, but man do you make it hard.. At this point Im routing against you! 20 year Dolphin Fan disgusted.

Sure some fans will disagree, but who cares call me a hater, call me a quitter Im not going to sip your ****ty Kool-Aid and look at the positives you know why? There are none were 0-3 and the WORST team in the NFL!!!!!!!!!

with 8 minutes on the clock we sat on the goddam ball with 8 run plays and a field goal instead of trying to punch it home... Sparano can go choke on some ramen noodles

Sad, but unfortunately true. I cannot believe how bad things have gotten in Miami. It's like Shula has a curse on this team for retiring him early. It's been a painful slide backwards ever since.

Very poor, poor, poor coaching decision. Who does that? When the fans know the game better than the coach something is really wrong. Are these games fixed???

    tony sparano has to go!!!!!!!!!

The man is to conservative. Instead of trying to lock up the game when they were in the red zone up 13-10. He was happy to run the ball, kill some clock and play for the fg. He's mentality was get the FG, will be up by 6 and let our D hold them off. Make them drive the whole field to score a TD. Stop playing Bill parcell ball its not the 90's anymore. Our season is done so early in the yr.

How did he not play to win the game?

    Then problem with this team?

It lacks any playmakers on defense. It will never be elite if they can't force turnovers. The DB's aren't untouchable. Any one of them can be replaced.

We don't have a QB capable of winning football games or scoring TD's. Our offense revolves around him and he isn't a guy you can do that with. I'm sorry, but almost 3 years of data now and averaging 14-17 points a game??? At some point you gotta say it's him and not everything else.

The ball on the opponent's 45 yard line with 40 seconds left and 1 timeout and and you don't move the ball a single yard?

    Special Teams is terrible.

Sparano should be fired. Ireland should be fired. Everyone on the team other than Jake Long is expendable IMO.

Firesale...again, until we find a franchise QB.

That's the thing, if he fires Sparano he will more than likely tap Nolan to be the Coach. Judging from the 9er's I'd say that would be no better.

Season's over. Pack it up and go home. I wait all year for football season and this is what we have to put up with for our trouble and dedication. Then they have the nerve to call us bad fans for not wanting to show up and support the brand. I do mean brand too. This hasn't been a team in years. News flash Mr. Ross, put a real team on the field and win games again and the fans will come back. We don't want Orange carpets and celebrity owners, we want a winning footbal team in Miami again.

Well...at least we know. We can clean house and move on. Would have been premature last season IMO unless there was a CLEAR upgrade.

We can pursue Cowher, Chuckey, etc. and we they will have everyone's full support.

Was a good run..Sparano and company did amazing with what they started with, but we're clearly regressing. We finally have talent on this team..now let's find people who can use it better!

I agree with the Sparano sentiment, but I don't think enough people are putting the heat on Ireland. Jeff Ireland is as much to blame for this as Tony Sparano. Personally, they should wash their hands of everything associated with Bill Parcells when the season is over. Clean house and start over.

Remember, it is Jeff Ireland that got us defensive backs with poor ball skills, linebackers that are slow to read and react to the run, and offensive line that has exactly two guys that can block at the second level, and no depth at the running back position. It was Jeff Ireland that traded for and paid Reggie Bush $10 million over 2 years when he could have gotten Darren Sproles for much less. Jeff Ireland has missed on draft picks and has a ton of money in free agency. He should be out the door along side Sparano.

To me the most infuriating play call is when we are driving up by 3 late in the fourth quarter. DT is running all over them. Gaining 4 or 5 yards a clip. We are deep in their end where a TD wins it for us. So what do we do? Pull Thomas, bring in Bush and run him up the middle so our drive stalls. Since, you know, Bush is such a great between the tackles runner.

Dont know if this was a HC or OC decision but even if it was from daboll Sparano needs to intervene. stupid stupid decision in a season full of them

I have been a fan since 1966 and a season ticket holder for 40 years. Until I became so frustrated with Sparano and Ireland that I did not renew my season tickets for this season. If Ross doesn't make a change before the Dolphins play their next game at home. I predict there will be more empty seats than fans in the stadium.

 So it's come to this has it? I am not a big fan of Sparano either, but to make a change just for the sake of change isn't always the best move. We need to really think this through and get the right guy.

I still don't get that. Sure, kicking that field goal to go up 16-10 ensures a FG can't send you to OT, but you can still loose the game if you give up a TD!!! IMO, you go for it there. Just get the first down, keep running the clock if you want to. That FG to me, does you ZERO good. All it did was ensure no OT, but doesn't prevent the loss. Just doesnt make sense to me, maybe I'm missing something here, I dunno... Id rather have gone for it, kept the 3 point lead, if you dont get it, you've got to hold them to a FG for a shot to win, either way if you give up the TD, you lost the game. Just doesnt make sense... but thats Tony.

I don't think this team can suck as much as the Colts though and that's the problem. That team is almost destined for Andrew Luck. Matt Barkley is pretty damn good too though.

That's nothing against Chad Henne either.

Ever since Joe Robbie died...and Don Shula retired, our once great and proud team has been medicore at best. Our best season since their leaving the team was when Fiedler was QB'ing for us and we at least had a shot at the playoffs. I personally call it the Curse of Joe Robbie.

Don't look for Ross to fire any of the coaches any time soon. I could be wrong there, but Ross is more interested in sharing the wealth...or burden to be exact with the cost of the team, bringing in minority celebrity partners as the Estevezes, the Williams sister, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Antony, etc...this is nothing more than a business to him and he not really a football person.

After sleeping on it last night and waking up this morning with a clearer head...not full of emotions from a disheartening loss, it has become clear to me the Miami Dolphins are like the Dallas Cowboys were last year...a team with some great talent and no direction...no purpose...no motivation. Football speaking, we as our team do not have our Patton...at least that how it appears.

Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Parcells, Ireland and Sparano did take us to the playoffs their first year with our team, but I believe that was more due to Parcells' personal involvment with the team during practices. The last two years, it has been pretty much up to Sparano to duplicate the Dolphins' first season under the Parcell's regime. Back to back 7-9 seasons. There's no reason to believe it'll get any better...a miracle if you will that would allow us to finish the season 13-3.

Well...Coach, I knew George Patton...Patton was a good friend of mine...Tony Sparano, you're no George Patton.

The only question becomes, WHEN does Ross fire Sparano. My head tells me during the bye week, but then what?

    Daboll? Nolan?

    I just don't know :pity:

I would try Daboll at least you hope with your HC being the play-caller you have some kind of play calling discipline.

Nolan would be better for a Jim Bates 04 discipline effect.
