2. Ronnie Brown, running back, Dolphins: After a so-so first year, Brown has been solid. A torn ACL derailed his opportunity to have a strong third year. Though he hasn’t lived up to the billing of the No. 2 overall pick, we’re not yet ready to call him a bust. (But we could be after 2008.) link to list http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/05/05/2005-first-round-littered-with-busts/
Dolphin fans should also note this guy's write up - 16. Travis Johnson, defensive tackle, Texans: When the biggest hit of your career is one that you unknowingly put on a quarterback’s head with your knee, you might be a redneck. And a BUST.
Ronnie won't be a bust! Last year was supposed to be his breakout year, he played like one of the best top 5 running backs, but then he got injured accidentally! He played 7 games, then got injured: 119 att for 602 yds, 39 rec for 389 yds! Prediction of last years full season: 272 att for 1376 yds, 89 rec for 890 yds! That would be 2266 yds overall!
Hillarious. I hate the guy but I wouldn't even have gone so far as to say, for now not a bust. Ronnie got injured because of Cleo Lemon covering an INT! Damn you lemon Ronnie was a beast. And 4.4 ypc is not a "so so first year" it's pretty damn good one consdiering he was splitting carries. But it is a fair assessment.
I wouldn't blame Cleo on Ronnie's injury... Ronnie tried to tackle a guy who picked a pass off and he got hurt. Not really anyone's fault there...
It is an ok assessment but he really has not got a chance to prove himself and he is one of our 2 best player. Jason Tyalor being number. Also last yeat wouuld have been a probowl year for him.
Well if Lemon hadnt forgtten that the Dolphins wear aqua and white then Ronnie wouldnt have gotten hurt. He's overrrated IMO.
