They're out of gas. They didn't get nearly enough of a rest. They better give it everything they have left for a three and out or a turnover.
So I feel like I was right all along about Henne, with the right coaching and system he could be an effective QB. I also never really thought our secondary was very good. Not trying to gloat here, but thats just the reality of where we are.
Team looking like they may be about to quit... slumping a bit. Henne still looks focused, at least. This is where I hate a QB's completion stats being hurt because teammates are playing demoralized and start giving up more pressure or dropping balls.
Offensive line penalties and lack of defensive pressure is KILLING us!!! 2012 1st round pick will be a pass rusher
That's a ball you throw to Marshall, but not to Hartline against McCourty on 3rd and 4 when you desperately need a first down. Still a good throw, but damn, there's matchups to be exploited out there and we're not doing it.
Why is it that Miami can never put together a team? We either have a good offense and defense sucks, or a great defense and offense sucks. On the bright side, I think the defense is being put to the test by the best offense we will see this year right out of the gate. Bodes well for us against everybody else.
