If Vontae and Sean can control their guys 1 on 1 then our backs and safeties can zero in on those guys. That, and can we pressure Brady w/o having to blitz?
If the majority of bets are coming in on NE why move the line to 6.5? Trying not to be overly cynical here .
Its not uncommon to see teams that are getting a huge % of public action actually DROP, ive been betting enough to know to expect the unexpected.
Whether its 6.5, 7, or 7.5 the lines are still inflated. I agree w. Volin (for a change): "...this is actually a tricky game for the Patriots, who will be the first team to face the Dolphins’ new offense under fresh-faced coordinator Brian Daboll. The Dolphins have several new pieces – Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas, Charles Clay, Clyde Gates – and a new attacking scheme that no one in the league has seen yet. “I’m not sure anybody really has an idea of how we might come at them,” coach Tony Sparano said Sunday. “And I think the way we’ve been utilizing some of these different players has shown less predictability right now as well. We haven’t scratched the surface there yet. Obviously there’s a bunch of things that we’re practicing that we haven’t shown right now.”
Can't believe we have to cheer for the Cowboys...lesser of two evils. Season finale of True Blood though, that'll keep me away from that game for an hour.
Currently 30-1 odds to win AFC, 60-1 odds to win the Super Bowl. Better get your bets in soon boys....those odds will change come next Tuesday!!!! If we win...any guesses as to how much they change?
Part of it is anticipated QBR. Guess they either dont think much of our defense or dont think Henne can handle the Pats D. Guess we will see how that works out in a week. Guess we know who our second favorite team is this week! Cowboys can definitely put up some points and the Jets D is going to have their hands full with Austin/Whitten/Bryant/Jones. Lets hope Romo has his best game of the year
Win or lose this game is going to be very interesting to see how the new look offense operates. I wouldn't bet on this game but I like our chances.
Well we've had a roller coaster off-season and finally time to see what the team is made of. Plenty of other teams have gone from being .500 one season to the super bowl the next. Now I wouldn't go that far, but playoffs are a definite possibility, then anything can happen. (However, 6-10 is also possible...really hard to tell with this team.) Stay healthy, and if Henne can have a solid season and not throw game crushing INTs then they have a great chance.
I hate it. Wish all home games were Sundays at 1pm Eastern time and all the road games that allow for it. Have to tolerate west coast games being at 4pm Eastern
That kind of sums it up for me as well. I think this team has tons of potential. How far can Henne and the OL go? Could be boom or bust.
defence Hello, I think from watching the pre-season the biggest thing on defense was covering the running backs out the back field. And on offence we are not really creating running lanes and hope are goal line packages are better than what we have seen. but i still hope we win
