Dont kill the messenger here, maybe I got this wrong but I live in the tampa market so I checked the blackout rules for nfl preseaon live It reads as if both markets get blacked out if the game dont sell out. here is the link: http://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/help_en_US.htm#BLACKOUTS Now maybe local tv stations still broadcast the away teams game in their market. I'm not sure because this is from the nfl site but just wanted to prepare you all in case they black your market out too. You might want to prepare alternate b/u plan just in case. I'm hoping they broadcast the game on siruis so I can at least listen to it. Anyone know if the blackout rules apply to siruis too?
Yeah I did consider that but they would right up until gametime. The game could sell out at the last minute. You guys may be perfectly safe I just thought I would tell you all what I read.
All preseason games get broadcasted. None get blacked out. There was like 350 people in the stands for the Carolina game and it was on TV. For some reason though...the Cowboys game will be blacked out.
I got a question, if we get the NFL season ticket from directv, I read if there is a blackout that game is also blackout ... What if you watch it from the away teams channel? Like in this case Dallas or houston as it seems that might be blackout too?
The Cowboys game is blacked out, period. It won't be aired for most of us until the Thursday replay on NFLN.
The game hasn't been played yet. It will still be on preseason live for those not in a local market. Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G
