Not revealing a lot , but interesting read imo . Reading between the lines you get some impressions on who will start at RT , the way he feels about some of the young players and that he is giving Will Allen an extended pass , for now , but that won't last . http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...ny-sparano-20110824,0,2657954.story?track=rss
Thanks Dolfan. Remove all the "yeahs", "you knows", and "I means" and that article is like 4 lines long. I kid, Tony, I kid.
This is one of the drums I've been banging, you need that running back who is going to keep away from negative plays, as putting Henne in 3rd and 8's consistently is not a good idea. Sounds like Lousake' is going to make the team
It's more like this: Back set in the backfield sees the ILB creep into the gap where the play is going, checks to see if the Qb audibles out of the gap, if they don't they know beforehand they will have to lower their pad level and be prepared to slide off and fall forward off of the ILB making a 2 yd loss into a 2-4 yd gain, they know how to do that instinctively. Young Rb maybe tries to juke the ILB in the hole and make something out of nothing and they wind up getting stoned in the backfield, or they try to bounce it to the outside. A coach has to know their Rb can handle that particular situation and keep the offense out of a negative play/
Ain't that the truth. I wonder if that's because Tony is nervous talking to media, or does he talk that way all the time, like to the players and such. Sounds like a real wise guy doesn't he? You could just picture him sitting there talking to De Niro, Pesci, Liotta, et al.
