Yup Punk using his old theme in the WWE is just awesome. RAW was a stinker except Zack Ryder getting TV time, the pop for JR and Punk at the end.

Should be interesting to see how they explain how/why Punk is back and if Triple H resigned him did they even continue on with the WWE title tournament. I mean how can Cena even seriously claim to be the real champion? That part is just poor planning on the WWE's part, what they should have done was have Triple H stop the tournament and say Punk's 30 day most defend the title clause end at Summer Slam so if he doesn't defend it there he will be stripped of it etc.

Yeah that part makes no sense, unless they say well Punk left the company therefore once he left he was stripped of the belt etc.

Hopefully Punk beats Cena clean at Summer Slam and continues on his run, instead of the same old stale SuperCena.

I hope so too. If it doesnt then it kills this angle. Punk needs to win, change the title and have a nice long run as champ. Del Rio needs to take a back seat for a while

Oh absolutely. Punk has money written all over him right now and to kill it for Del Rio would just be dumb. If they want Del Rio to be champion move him back to Smackdown because right now Punk should be the focus of RAW. Give him the ball and sit back and let the man work.

I think with Del Rio they may continue his trying to finding the right opportunity to cash the title only to realize its not the right time, ie, he saw Mysterio out, decided to cash it, Rey got up and he changed his mind. imo though it makes him look weak and foolish.

Well there's nothing wrong with having a cowardly heel. I mean a guy like Del Rio or even The Miz doesn't look like a tough guy so something like that can work for him and get them some cheap heat. I'm ok with that but the WWE has gotten lazy and it seems like every heel is treated that way. That's one of the reasons Sheamus drove me crazy when he was champion because he looked like he could legit beat people up but he was given the coward heel role which just made him look dumb and it didn't even put any heat on him either. Ditto for Wade Barrett, he looks like a million bucks, he shouldn't be treated like a coward.

Yeah I think that's my main issue.. Every heel is a coward type orcant win the title clean with the exception to cm punk but he's nor a heel or face imo. Look at Christin he has yet to beat Orton clean and idk if he ever will

He won't. Nobody ever gets to beat Orton clean for some reason. If they won't put big guys like Kane and Sheamus over Orton cleanly why would they put a small guy like Christian over him?

Everything the WWE sells regarding CM Punk is sold out on their website and backordered. The guy is Austin like over right now in terms of popularity. The WWE needs to continue his push to the moon, if they want to make more money that is.

Right completely agree. But the guy is just crazy over right now. His 'new' theme that came out in the 80's I believe was up to 140 on iTunes Top 200 the other day, he's just super hot right now. I don't think anyone has been even close to this level(in terms of being internet darlings and just selling out everything) since Austin/The Rock.

If true then the WWE almost made a HUGE mistake. I get that you want Del Rio to be champ when they have their mexico champ and it sucks for Del Rio that he has to wait a little longer to win the title but he will get his soon. WWE fell into a pile of gold and they can't screw it up.

If they ever did that it would have been on par with the WWE totally blowing the WCW/ECW Invasion angle, maybe even worse.

But hey I'm sure CM Punk eating a beatdown by Triple H is coming soon enough.

which they could have easily done without giving Mysterio the tittle. Add Cena to the match and make it a triple threat match. Have it at the main event of course

I fel tthey rushed it too, but there is only so long that you can keep the hottest guy in wrestling off of TV (Punk) and Summserslam is roughly three weeks away. The second largest PPV of the year. You have to build to it if Punk is in th emain event.

Personally, I would have had Rey win the title against Miz, and then book Rey/Cena for Summerslam. Keep Punk off TV until the end of the PPV where he could have done the same walk out and pose.

Even better, have Cena win at Summerslam, then the next night on Raw, he does his "The Champ is here!," bit, Living Colour hits and Punk walks out to tell Cena that he is right, the champ IS here.

I guess we were wrong about their intentions with the Christian/Orton feud. It looks like it's going to come to a head at SummerSlam in a no holds barred match. At that point I can't imagine them not putting the belt back on Orton. I think it's pretty cool the way they've pushed Christian lately, he's pretty much the only entertaining guy on Smackdown at the moment. It looks like Sheamus is going face which is probably smart. If that's the case I wish they'd put the belt on him instead of Orton. Orton has so little personality it's almost unbearable sometimes.

Yeah I'm surprised the Orton/Christian feud has continued this long but I give the WWE credit for continuing with it considering how well Christian has been received. I'm not sure I'm a fan of Sheamus as a face (although I'm not much of a fan of him as a heel either) but at least they're trying something different with him.

And yeah I totally agree with you about Orton, outside for 3 months in I believe 2009 I've always been bored of his character. Yes he has a nice look and a great finisher but outside of that what does he bring to the table? He's not very good on the mike and isn't a good wrestler either.

His finisher was better when Diamond Dallas Page did it. Not very good on the mike is being generous.

It looks like Sheamus may feud with Mark Henry as a face for now. I think Ezekiel Jackson is a better choice to feud with Mark Henry as he's basically doing nothing right now. It's kind of a 'two strongest men in WWE facing off' kind of angle.

I saw the replay from raw with mysterio winning the belt and then losing it. This is worse than they screwed Christian with his belt the first time. I think Cena is talented and I generally like the guy but him always having the belt or fighting for it is getting old. And I know they're going to make sure he has it for his match with the Rock in April for some reason. As if Rock was going to win a belt and come back regularly. Punk's complained a lot about the Cena/Rock match, maybe they'll put him in instead. I can dream.

I actually don't mind Cena getting the belt back from Mysterio it's how it happened that bugged me because right now the focus should be Cena/Punk. Mysterio should have been stripped of his title then he would automatically be set up to feud with either Punk or Cena whoever came out of the SummerSlam match with the belt.

And yeah there's no way it's going to be Punk/Rock at WM no matter how over Punk gets between then and now. If anything Punk will have a match against Triple H or Austin. And I don't think Cena will be the champion at WM, that's no sense in having that match a title match because there's already going to be a huge draw.

I wonder if Austin is physically up to a match like that because that could be pretty great if he is. He looked to be in pretty good shape during tough enough but that's not putting on a twenty minute match or so.

He might be able handle/fake through a 15 minute brawl type match but I don't think it would be a great match since Punk's and Austin's styles would clash. I think there's a much better chance we'd get a Punk/HHH match at this point. But certainly a Punk/Austin match to go along with a Rock/Cena match would just be an even bigger WM draw, although even with Rock/Cena alone it will probably do a huge buy by itself.

HHH said that he stepped into his office and said start the music at the end of raw. So the thought is he wasn't signed till the very end of last weeks ep.

  37. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

Although if true...how did they know to play the NEW music? The whole angle is lacking in the storytelling department on the tail end of it. The end game is champ vs. champ at Summerslam, which is what we have, but man oh man, they are hanging on by a thread with this one, which is so disappointing. Also, did HHH really say, "I'm gonna kick your skinny fat ***"?

Also, Jon Cena's logic for why he would get stripped of the title was so bad it made my head hurt. "Are you really going to strip me of the WWE title because CM Punk beat me ONE time?" Uhm John? That ONE time was for the WWE Title...

Not only the music thing but apparently CM Punk walks around in his wrestling gear even when he's a free agent and not scheduled to wrestle.

Yeah there were a lot of dumb comments in both Triple H's and Cena's promos last night. I think Triple H needs to tone it down a bit and stop trying to act like Mr. Tough Guy now that he's in a Front Office position. I didn't even understand Johnny Ace's involvement in the promo last night either, what exactly did it add? It wasn't even needed.

And yes the explaination as to how they got to the Punk/Cena showdown makes zero sense. It would have been better for Triple H to say Punk has a right to be champion because he beat Cena for the title and never lost it nor has the 30 day title defense clause kick in yet however Cena has a right to be champion because Punk's contract expired and he walked away and the promotion can't be sitting on its hands and knees without a world champion waiting the 30 days so instead we'll just book the Punk/Cena match so there.

Also nice to see Zack Ryder on RAW again but it was typical WWE putting him in his place. Hopefully at least the powers that be heard the crowd chanting his name during the match. No matter how much they want to bury him, Ryder is over with the crowd right now, they better strike before he flames out.
