It's not for us to judge, but if I'm a football team, I'd still probably rather he divorce someone whose hand accidentally happened to be grasping a knife that accidentally happened to be inside my $50 million receiver.

I don't care too much about the personal domestic stuff, but I like the Bess comment and he has been working with a speed coach all off-season. He seems dedicated and committed, etc. I'm psyched to see what he can do this year. Let's hope our OC can can use him correctly and let's hope we have good enough play from the QB.

It's all fun and games (and the occasional lie), until the crazy betch drugs your dinner, ties you to your bed and cuts your ***** off.

A top five WR has "foot envy" towards an undrafted slot WR.
    I rest my case.....

He could end up regretting this big time. She seems to be just as crazy as him, or worse! He better hope this is not over another woman because he could end up getting his pecker cut off and put in a garbage disposal just like some dude had happen to him the other night. That dude wife calmly called 911 then stuck around and told police he simply deserved it!!

    Be careful there Brandon! lol

And Bess scores more TD's than a top five WR.
In fact 50 + WR's did. That's a lot of feet that our star WR wishes he had.
He says she didn't stab him because he is hiding that he provoked the whole incident.
    Marshall is a joke.

Didn't take long for the threadcrapping to begin.

As for the actual point of this thread, I think it's odd that Marshall would continue to defend his wife unless there really is something else going on. I don't put it past the media to run with an incomplete or inaccurate version of events, so that might be coloring our perception of this statement.

Dude, it is simply impossible to rest a case that never was one...

It's like telling us that top players at their positions should be doing all the teaching and no learning from others. No matter who you are, you should be able to learn something from anyone, if indeed you want to learn...

  17. Ozzy

Yeah, god forbid that a top player at his position might see a way to get even better. Wow dude you'll use anything to try and be right. Nice try though...

Every quarterback drafted before pick 27 should be better than Dan Marino then.....or they are a bust

Well, BM went all in with the "I slipped" story, and in FL if he changes his story he is liable for charges, so he has little choice but to stick with his original version.

As for BM the player, if anyone thinks he won't see 130 or more targets this yr they have lost their mind.

I agree..... We have one possession WR admiring another possession WR's skills and wanting to be more like him.
Marshall could probably learn more than a thing or two from Bess.

Nothing unusual about one player admiring the abilities of another player Killahp.

If it makes one feel better, Mike Irvin gushed about Bess's footwork and change of direction as well.

I would say he's trying to get her off because the state it happened in is planning to pick up the charges if the law enforcement department plans to drop charges.

Except you don't agree! You just like to twist things to go in your favor! Marshall is far more than a possession Wr! He's been a top 5 Wr when he's had the right offense, and QB!!!

I think its just a case where she stabbed him, but he accepts it, has forgiven her, and considers it part of their relationship.

Absolutely and to go this far, he is also trying to make sure she does not get convicted or tried by the state.

but it makes you wonder about this statement.... Didn't he say he fell on a broken ashtray or something and the police found no blood there.
Is he sticking to that bogus story to avoid backtracking and admitting he lied.

Chad Henne has envy towards a QB picked in the 6th round (Tom Brady). I rest my case...

Could be wrong, but it sounds as if he does love his wife very much and is trying to protect her...even though all indications are she was practicing carving the Thanksgiving turkey on his abdomen.

I just hope he's not one of these "desperate", "can't live without you" type of guys that's afraid of actually losing his wife and having to start over. If that's the case, he's weak personally and being personally weak will ultimately translate into being weak on the field.

I can say this, after this embarrassment, he's handling himself and the situation seemingly appropriate, and he's not letting it affect his so important offseason training, what he's doing in that dept Is what he is supposed to be doing, which is a lot more than some folks, thats good for our team, thats good for him as a player..He's right, he did not have his explosiveness last year and it was obvious he could not get deep.

Oz I really don't blame Henne for his troubles last year, maybe a little but I would attribute Marshall not being right physically and coming off consecutive offseason hip surgeries that robbed him of his training and suddenness to be the main culprit...Marshall got his oppurtunities, I don't believe he has anything to ***** about,He would of had about 90 catches is he didn't have many easy drops.

''The courts could have a say about that distance. CompleteColorado.com reports that a female from Marshall’s residence called 911 in a separate incident back in January, screaming for help before she hung up.

When the dispatcher called back, a man answered the phone and said everything was fine. The female then confirmed she no longer needed help.''

I don't claim to know what this man is all about, I just hope hes not a pathological liar...I thought when he came in last year he had grown up, but I don't think that was the case by his behavior..He sure does talk a good game, makes you believe he's on the right track...All we can do is hope at this point.
