    So… a quarter-wit?

Nice to see someone agrees with me that the Browns could very well go WR even with Peterson still on the board. And Cam Jordan to Washington is a nice twist, haven’t seen that one before. Also, I wouldn’t be so sure the Ravens would take Jimmy Smith. They have Josh Wilson, so you have to wonder if they consider that opposite corner spot a first round priority.

Ponder to the Pats would make me cringe.

Ofcourse they could? When did anyone say otherwise? Your the one who questioned the Peterson selection on the mock. Nobody said they would take Peterson at the drop of a hat, your just creating an argument vs. yourself.

Infact I considered making the Jones pick in the mock but Robiskie started to show some signs of coming around late and Massaquoi is a good young player so I opted for the BPA.

Ive been plugging for an OL if Mallett is gone and we cant trade down so I LOVE the Pouncey pick...when building a house you have to have a strong foundation and the foundation of every team is usually the offensive line.

Me and you are thinking the same for the Titans pick.

Pretty good mock IMO. That's where I see Gabbert going as well and if indeed he falls there I think the Dolphins have to try hard to move up and get him. If they can't and don't want Mallett (or if he's gone like in this scenario) I think they'll move down. I think they like Pouncey, but I think they'd just as soon move down and get someone like Danny Watkins later on and put themselves in a position to get Kaepernick or someone like that in the 2nd round.

Just realized you have Ponder going to NE. I assume that mock pick was made for someone else, not NE.

Yeah, he does, now that I read it but I just have a really hard time seeing that happen.

I agree, I think they need to get their defense intact before they go luxury that early. But i could see a Kapernick, Dalton, Stanzi with one of their 5 million 2nd RD picks.

I would be shocked if Phil Taylor is drafted in the first round. With his medical condition being incurable I could see him drop to the 3rd round

If we're unable to trade down, I'd be happy with Pouncey. Its not a sexy pick, but fills a need even if most people feel its a reach.

He has some ingrown bones in his feet or something. It basically a condition that causes significant pain from what I've read as the bones grow more and more together, and people seem to think that the pain could get worse with age. Additionally, his weight seems to be something that people think will contribute to the pain as well.

The Jets have been known to take chances on players with pre-existing conditions. In 2003, they used the fourth overall pick on DT Dewayne Robertson, who had a degenerative condition (no cartilage) in one knee. He never missed any games for the Jets, but he never became the player they envisioned. In 2004, the Jets chose LB Jonathan Vilma 12th overall even though he had a degenerative bone condition in one knee -- ultimately requiring surgery in 2005. He was traded to the Saints and has become a top linebacker.

I'm guessing that the Jets will have Rex Ryan check him out since he knows feet so well....
