you can take a player and trade that player can't you? I know you can't trade that pick, but you can trade the player? I know you don't have to sign him, so maybe someone can give you a player you want for the player you pick at that spot.

lol nah, it's good. My next pick is a comp pick, and after that I only have a mid 5th and two 7ths. Doubt I could trade those for anyone anyways. I'll probably end up using my next three picks, sign 1-2 of those players, and trade my 7ths for a special teamer or something.

I really didn't think anyone would value Green or Williams higher than a 5th and I didn't think anyone would even know who Shareece Wright was. But, I was trying to trade up into the middle of the 4th, so I could snag Wright, but couldn't trade up.

My next pick is probably going to be a "reach" but I really like him, and I don't pick again until rd 7. I think he's a very solid player.

We've reached that point in the draft where it's less about value and more about the guys you've seen play and have a good feeling about IMO.

I liked the Gilchrist pick. One of the few DB's I had on my board.

I had Wright too, now that I think of it.

No reaction to Todman? Seems to me opinions on him vary. I like him a lot though and even though I really don't need a back, I thought he was the BPA.

I like the Todman pick. He's like the Burney pick earlier. You're forgoing physical domination for a good football player and hoping his good playing can compensate for what he lacks physically. Todman is a damn productive RB. The only question with him IMO is whether the physicality of the NFL will be too much too overcome. It works once in a while. Just see Zach Thomas

Because he's not even rated as a top 10 CB on many people's big boards. Plus, he is projected as a 4th-5th round prospect. I knew people would know about him, but I didn't think anyone would target him in the first 4 rounds, even though I was trying to take him in the middle of the 4th.

Taiwan Jones, nice pick. The RB class is starting to thin out now. Glad I traded for Williams.

I'm out of town tonight, so I don't want to hold the draft up.

    Vikings Bulletin list:

    1. Pierre Allen, DE, Nebraska
    2. Pernell McPhee, DE Mississippi State
    3. KJ Wright, LB, Mississippi State

I almost picked him, but just couldn't decide between Jarrett and one other safety. Ended up just picking a player I had as higher value.

Thanks. S wasn't really a need but I wasn't comfortable with the idea of Lewis or Washington at SS if Berry should go down. Jarrett can play either S position. He and Tucker give me two very solid special teams players, which is really what I'll be focusing on from here on out.

The Texans are able to jump that selection if Fin-O doesn't make his selection in the next 15 minutes. I won't have the committee pick for Fin-O in the event of a trade, but I will allow teams to jump him once they go on the clock.

A handful of nice players came off the board today...Casey Matthews (the next Zach Thomas imo) and Curtis Marsh stood out. Both should be gone by the early third round. Nicely done by Sean and Petey.

Fell asleep after I made the offer and never saw the Skins agreed and posted it.

Sorry to take so long guys as I know when your a pick or two away from selecting it can be frusterating when someone "holds up the process"

As for the trade, its was win-win because DHB was just caught up in a log jam at WR and was potentially going to be cut as the roster freeze approaches. Washington will provide a nice change of scenary for the underrated talent who fell victim to the BLACK HOLE his first 2 seasons as a pro.

I dont know who all had Mims going in the next 25 picks maybe even none of you, but David with the help of some coaching has a very high ceiling to be a star in this league due to his attributes and fine work ethic. Mims fits in well with what I personally look for in an OL.
