There are a few people who would appreciate not name-dropping in this thread. I haven't been following this thread extremely close today, but try to be courteous when talking about players you feel should not have "fell" to this point of the draft.

How'd ya like me turning Brandon Meriweather, Brandon Spikes, a third and a fourth into Aaron Curry and the 34th pick overall? I gots big plans for Curry. I'm going to put him next to Jerod Mayo INSIDE. It'll allow me to keep both guys on the field at all times. run 34 43 425 245... yeah you get the picture. It's addition by subtraction in terms of quantity. four for two. But neither Brandon appealed to me in terms of pass coverage skills. Not that Curry is Thomas Howard but he's better than Spikes. hmmm... Curry and Mayo... interesting...

Well, while Thomas Howard is one of the best coverage linebackers in the game, he has other attributes that make him less appealing to GM's such as myself. Where was he last year for the Raiders?
When did Thomas Howard stop sucking? He couldn't cover for anything, overran in the run game, got no pressure on the blitz. Showed up his first year and then disappeared.
