Interesting about Jackson and Jones, both can play but have not shown they are do it all types of players, Jackson at absorbing the pounding, Jones of Stone..Hands.
Some people are really keen to bring him in, but he is going to look for at LEAST upper tier #2 WR money, when in reality he is maxed out as he in Green Bay imo. Telling to me that when Driver went down it was not Jones picking up most slack but Jordy Nelson. Jones will make some plays, but his hands are terrible. I think he will need a really good QB to get the max out of him, rather than him being able to elevate the play of a Henne.
That and really "we" should be developing out own J Jones's, not paying big money for another teams' developed product, the disappearance of the cap for 2 yrs has sort of taken away the notion that you have to have great value out of cheap players in order to compete, not just sign everyone out there. I say the cap was gone for 2 yrs because whomever was signed in 09 didn't matter as there was no Cap in 2010, so if you were "over" the cap in 09 when 10 started it disappeared, that is one of the reasons why we could cut Gerbil and Smiley and Grove and sign Dansby and Marshall. Now though, it matters...come one Wallace/Moore/Pruitt/Foster/Carter..be good.
Exactly. He does not have good hands and will get a lot of money. Let's not forget who's throwing him the ball, afterall. You guys should stay away.
