The quote in the subject and what Palmer actually said are two different things. But I agree it’s time for the Bengals to trade him. Shame they can’t without a new CBA. As always, Carson Palmer’s timing is lacking.

Then again, it would not be exactly what he said. Palmer appears to be determined that he is done in Cinci, so much so even notoriously stubborn Mike Brown has gotten the message, but whether a trade can be worked out in time to matter for 2011 is anyone's guess.
It would be a more accurate representation. No players can be traded until there’s a new CBA. Doesn’t matter if you do it before the end of the league year or not. No trades are allowed.
