No offense, but I've done this for quite some time. I know what I'm doing and what I'm looking for. I'm not losing a draft pick and I feel that tight ends are often reached for in the GM League's draft. Not to mention in my offer I am not losing a draft pick, simply moving down two rounds. When it gets past the 3rd round, it's not quite as groundbreaking as you make it out to be. I didn't offer a 4th and a 6th. I offered a 4th for Cook and a 6th. I don't have a 5th round pick and that's what I felt equaled out to it value-wise. If you really wanted to know, a 5th round pick was the highest value I would take it. And that's the value I feel I am giving away.
Auctions should be banned anyway......it's lazy GM-ing, IMO. But they're not, so, do I smell a Peyton Manning auction in the near future?
Really he's not, and neither are you. Why on earth would I auction off Peyton Manning, it'd be hard to move that kind of salary as well as against the rules to move a FA that I got.
I disagree with the value, not with your abilities. Edit: According to my spreadsheet, Tennessee already had 6.183. So is this for 4.112 and 6.188 instead of 6.183?
If I've told you once, I've a thousand times, I will match any, and I mean any, offer for Peyton Manning. No matter how crippiling it is to my team and salary cap. I can't make myself anymore clear.....this goes for anyone else who has thoughts of getting Manning.
Yep. If that's what it takes. I have a problem with stubbornness. Especially if the 2 1sts offered aren't high enough.
Fine. I'll just hack your account and trade him to myself after I let you sign him for $10M. Good luck proving it. This message will self destruct in 5 seconds.
