Yeah, I don't want to get started on how frustrating it is to watch UM's bball team the last few years.
I'm already praying that Haith gets the boot after the season. His streetball offense is torture to watch.
That game was brutal to watch last night....not being able to penetrate is a major issue. You cant live and die by the three.
Canes get a new commit in Gionni Paul. Check out his highlight reel, guy just punishes people.
Manny_Navarro Manny Navarro #UM S&C coach Andreu Swasey said there's been a lot of vomiting during the first week of the new Fifth Quarter drills.
How does a channel with nothing but University of Miami on it all day sound? Well, that's a reality. http://slumz.boxden.com/f16/espn-launching-9-new-university-channels-here-official-logos-1485242/
I doubt that is a legit source so we'll see. A lot of crazy stuff going on tonight in terms of recruiting rumors The #2 DB in the country Marcus Roberson from STA decommitted from Texas Tech and rumors were going around that he is visiting Miami this weekend. I think that's an Auburn/Florida battle. Bigger news for UM was that DT/DE Jalen Grimble canceled his visit to UCLA. He came on an official to Miami the past weekend after some stuff went on with USC dropping him from their recruiting class (not having enough spots). It was believed that UCLA and Miami would be the top 2 for him with UCLA being in the driver seat for him but a Scout reporter reported that he ended up not visiting UCLA and if that is the case then that might mean good for the Canes unless USC picked him back up or something(unlikely). Will be interesting to hear more on this.
It was actually Grimble that dropped USC, not the other way around like USC is trying to make it look like, so I doubt Grimble ends up back at USC. Him cancelling his visit to UCLA is great news for us. We needed a DT in this class, and he's one of the best in the country. He's only listed at 255 though, so we're still going to need a bigger guy to man the middle in our 3-4 looks.
If anything it was a little bit of both. USC doesn't have that many scholarships due to the sanctions so they cooled on some kids (one of which was Grimble) so it could go either way.
They wanted Grimble to play on the offensive line, he wants to play defense. That's why he dropped USC.
I'm not saying you're wrong but there has been a lot of contradicting info out there on him. Sounds like he didn't take any official visit this weekend. SO unless he plans to commit to UCLA with having visited there then this kid might be a Cane.
I'm almost 100% positive that's what happened based on the people I've heard it from, so take it for what it's worth. USC have said they stopped recruiting him because of limited scholarships to save face. With a kid this talented, you make room, period. Either way, none of that really matters. Grimble isn't going to USC, and probably not UCLA either. Chances are good he will be a Cane.
Sousa eliminated Miami.... And Brissett's mom said he was announcing his decision tomorrow.... EDIT: He's making a decision tomorrow, not announcing it.
Will getting Brissett hurt UM's chances of getting a top QB prospect next year? Because Bart Houston would be great.
Actually, it was Miami that didn't extend Sousa's offer from everything I've heard. That's saying a lot because this staff was a big fan of him. Could mean they already know Brissett will be a Cane.
Well, some people are saying one thing, some saying another. I tend to believe it was Miami that backed off.
All Access with Canes first coach meeting and team work out I love that Golden is doing this. http://hurricanesports.com/allaccess/?media=224271
Announcement times Byron Moore - 11 PM Tonight Dominique Terrell - 2PM Tomorrow Kaleb Johnson - 9 AM Wed Jacoby Brissett- 9:30 AM Wed. Devin Lucien - 3 PM Wed. Patrick Onwuasor- 5 PM Wed. Jalen Grimble - 5 PM Wed. I think we get Moore, Brissett, Onwuasor or Lucien, and Grimble.
This kid made a circus of his announcement and this is the 2nd time he has been through the process being a JUCO kid that transferred out of USC. Apparently he silently committed to both staff to lead them on. NSD has been a huge disappointment the last few years for Miami. I hope things change this Wednesday.
but he's been to LA so im not worried he hasnt visited the campus. Atleast that we know of. Plus UCLA beat writer is hearing rumors from other writers in LV where he used to write that UCLA is the school. Also i really think we get Shannon as DC and he recruited Grimble when he was at the U. Again the is the latest rumor. Were going to hear all kinds of stuff until its official tomorrow. Im not 100% believing this i mean Harbaugh was our HC at one point i guess we'll find out soon
this past weekend? i dont think he did. i just assuming he's has in the past maybe unofficial visits. His cousin plays at SC
I don’t know if Grimble has ever visited UCLA, just that he skipped out on a visit last weekend; if you’re saying that he was in LA before, then that suggests he was there to check out USC, not UCLA. Has Grimble visited UCLA at all? I think it’s significant that he skipped a visit the weekend before NSL.
