So, I have never signed up to another team's forum, until today. I was reading through the "tripping" thread over at puke green and just had to say something. However, I don't think I was out of line. Judge for yourselves and let me know if what I wrote deserved a banning. Hello Jet fans. This will be my first post here...I never thought I'd sign up to any other team's site, but after yesterday I just had to. It's good to see that there are at least a few classy fans here. IMO, what this guy did was illegal. If a fan ran onto the field (or the sidelines) and hit a player they would have went to jail. Also, a lot of you are trying to minimize this by making the excuse that Nolan was out of bounds. Well, a player is allowed to go out of the field of play if he is forced and as long as he makes an attempt to get back inbounds as soon as possible. The Jet coaches who were lined up on the sidelines were actually over the "legal" line of advancement. This rule is rarely enforced however, and usually that's OK, but now that we see what some POS, malicious biotch might do I see this rule being enforced from now on. Anyhow, can't say I didn't enjoy your loss yesterday and I really hope you guys have yet another late season meltdown. Have a good one!
I thought the same thing. I realize that I come off as harsh over the internet, people here can attest to that, but I thought as long as I'm not half as bad as D. Revis is here then they wouldn't ban me. I was wrong.
Not harsh enough for a ban, but they're probably in a "world's gonna end" scenario, so it's not surprising they dropped the hammer.

This topic is only being blown out of porportion because we're the New York Jets. I honestly don't think it's a big deal. Tell Nolan to man up and stay in bounds next time.
You felt the need to dig up a month old thread just to post that? Really? REALLY? Yeah coaches tripping players is no big deal. Maybe next time we should just skip the subtlety and have them carry baseball bats. Gunners almost NEVER go out bounds do they? Oh wait .... Just wow man, wow.
Actually, the reason it was "blown out of proportion" was because what the POS Jests coach did was illegal, and he could have possibly injured a player. What Nolan did was clearly legal in the respect to the rules of the NFL. If a fan had tripped a player they would be in jail. The POS Jests coach was lucky it really wasn't blown out of proportion or else he may have suffered the same fate. Anyone who thinks this is no big deal is clearly being biased and most likely not very bright.
Back to the topic at hand, it seems that the Jets forum is just like the players and fans (most of them)...sensitive. They can give it out but they cannot take it. Booo hooo! If any Jets fan wants to prove me wrong, give me the link and let me post there. I bet I am banned quickly.
If you act like this Darrelle Revis character over there they would ban you. I'm not sure as to why he's still allowed here. Unlike the other Jests fan here, for example BB, Revis is here not to talk about football, but rather to harass Dolphins fans.
What, you are insane. Revis gives great insight like. "Darrelle Revis is the best CB ever" and of course "The Jets will beat the Patriots just because". How can we live w/o his insight?
i realize this thread happened a while ago and was drudged up but to be fair MPP you sure had the look of what a troll would do, albeit with better grammar and punctuation. Though maYb if u had ***** dun it lik diz ud have fit n ther, and possibly wouldn't have stuck out like a sore troll thumb haha nah they were probably just doing severe damage control at the time. Imagine after the Pittsburgh game if some steelers fan came on here while the poo was hitting the fan and said the refs were right and it was a TD yada yada yada. It would have looked like classic trolling and probably would have been ban-hammered. When everyone is all riled up its hard to let people come in all of a sudden with their first post and give the anti-point eh, it is what it is, you don't really want to belong there anyway I wouldn't be able to be as civil as some of the Jet fans on this board are like BB
Consider yourself lucky. Starting off the New Year getting banned from a site full of simple celled mouth breathers is a good thing.
