Flacco went through his reads there but I wonder what Derrick Johnson was thinking there? He was in no-mans land. Just kind of standing there. Wonder if he was being used as a Spy or was he actually suppose to have the Hook zone on the hash there where Ray Rice went in?

i think right now cameron is doing a good job exploiting todd heap and ray rice in the passing game. kc is doing a great job blanketing the receivers but are getting gashed by the blue collar guys

Fun game so far. Chiefs are really a much improved team. Amazing what a coordinator change can do ...

From the King of Mesh's playbook, Mike Leach.

I'm not by any means a proponent of taking a RB in the top 20 of the draft, but if we can't move down or up I just can't see how I'd be unhappy with Ingram. I watch what Ray Rice can do, and what he means to Baltimore and can't help but think Ingram could be that and maybe more.

Of course there are a number of offensive players who I'd be happy (or ecstatic) about at #15 or even rd 1, and I'd prefer coming away with Newton or Gabbert.

he has more than an edge on Henne...and he's nowhere near as slowfooted as being portrayed.

i would imagine henne needs to have a better feel for finding throwing lanes. i would expect a lot of batted or tipped balls if he's throwing short over the middle. maybe if you extend them to fifteen to give him some distance. like the boundary routes though

actually never mind. just read where the reads are. nice patterns. definitely would like to see those

He wouldn't be throwing directly over the middle, more like near the numbers.

Ed Reed needs to not ask for the ball there.

this draft will be interesting. i think oline is our most pressing need (or QB but they will probably be gone) but the oline prospects dont excite too much for a first rounder. same with RB. WR however really excites me, though they arent our most pressing needs on offense. Do we go BPA or need? also if by some miracle Fairley dropped I would grab him in a second screw the offense lol

Gotcha. I like the concept though. Leach does a lot of tagging on to it, like he'll turn the drag/drive route into a wheel. Drag to wheel and then it can end up Post by WR, Y with drag to wheel and it ends up like what Indy did last night on the touchdown. Indy's touchdown was Post with Out tag with wheel.

I've never understood the idea behind a toss play on very short yardage situations.

I don't see an issue with it if you have enough speed to turn the corner. You just have to execute it very well, which can be difficult.

need to have a QB that lets plays develop. whether its henne or the coaching, henne doesnt let any play develop long enough to run those routes. but those are far more effective than the simplified stuff we were running this year

you do it against aggressive defenses that you believe will crash the corners and hope to get outside of containment. bad call against an experinced defense though

It just seems to put your team at a disadvantage, you only need 1 yard but you make your guy get 5. There's a reason why Polite is so successful at converting, besides the QB he's the closest guy to get the ball across the line.

    And Charles fumbles again.

BTW, this is what a Dominant Defense looks like, which is what the current Dolphins defense is not.

I didn't forget about those other guy's, watched lambert, singletary, play his whole career..but this man made THAT play against arguably the most explosive player in the league, in his 15th year.

Fire me as a the official scorer, I have the sound off and am listening to the radio coverage and they said "charles".

And now an interception, this is very much like our playoff game vs the Ravens

Wow. You can't stand in the pocket for 10 minutes (exaggerating here) and throw an INT.

The speed metrics favor the more evolved athlete..

Watch him on the last int..watch him scan and cover the field moving sharply, and changing direction.

We could of had Flacco and Boldin on this team.

Outstanding ST play, KC offsides, but even if they weren't the punter put the ball on the one yd line.

    Drive continues to eat clock.

I thought all along the Chiefs were fraudulent, like we were when we won the division. The Ravens have a habit of exposing "turnaround" teams.

Jets v. Pats and Ravens v. Steelers in the Divisional round. Those are some sweet match ups.
