oh and as for your warning?

We have won 14 out of 15, 2 back from Boston and 3 ahead of Orlando...the last thing we care about is losing a game to a team we will beat 4-0 or 4-1 in a playoff series

Go ahead and gloat...the Heat blew a 22 point lead and the Knicks covered because Amare likes drawing fouls with 8 seconds left and down 10.

THE WARDEN (Joel Anthony) puts Amare in JAIL again. That might have been the ugliest 30 ever.

At least Spike Lee got himself some nice seats and a mini So. Fla vacation.

    Back on topic.....

Knicks possible 1st round opponent that they can beat?

They can definitely beat the Bulls. Bulls are so offensively challenged that the Knicks might beat them in a series by default.

Too early to talk seed matchups with any certainty, but you have to think the Knicks don’t want to see the Bucks in the first round.

Knicks dismantle NBA's best team, nice win for an up and coming team...

Amare worked Duncan on both sides of the court....Chandler was on fire.

Best team by record...but their defense has been **** all year and the Knicks kill those type teams. The Spurs statistically speaking, have no way to justify their record.

Heat is 1 game back from the Spurs for wins...so you might have to make the most dreaded post in your hating career, very soon.

Absolutely only from a win standpoint, the Heat are the best team in the NBA and quite frankly the best team ever assembled in organized sports.

Well the warden had quite a bit of help from bosh and James in their triple team of amare. That works right now but it isn't going to last forever and you know that. No one can cover amare from ten feet and in. Best player in the league from there. Anthony couldn't do it alone so they had to help him.

The heat have a great squad no question but once the knicks get melo and eventually CP3 its gonna be a different game. You know that as well

Our system is better than yours.

and there were NO triple teams of Amare and NO double teams either.

There are only late blitz doubles in the final 5 seconds of a possession, which never happens because D'antoni never allows for such a deep possesion.

The Heat DO NOT double team as a principle.

The Warden smacked around your guy, literally and figuratively.

BTW...who leads the NBA in +/-? The warden. Joelcatraz. Amare has served a couple of minor sentences there...might have to sentence him to 20 to life soon.

"Once we get them" thats the kind of unearned arrogance which makes most people despise NY's sports teams.

You were supposed to get LBJ right? That was written in stone right? whoops.

I could easily say the same thing for Miami fans who all of a sudden are Heat faithfull and cant wait to have all that loyalty pay off once again....

Say what u want about Knick fans but we have been here through a LONG playoff drought yet were still here.

And I would tread lightly in regards to counting your chickens before they hatch, half your fans feel its a forgone conclusion your gonna win the NBA title this year.

Of course Knick fans are still here.....what do they say about cockroaches and nuclear war?

and yes...we do feel it is a foregone conclusion that the Heat will win a championship. it is a matter of how many. But I do not see ANYBODY saying that it is a foregone conclusion that they will win THIS YEAR.

But will they win..no matter what? absolutely. I already put the success meter at 3 more for Wade before retirement. 2 more is a yawn. 1 more is a disappointment.

But think of it...this is a WIN WIN for YOU. If the Heat win this year, you can still hold out hope that they only win that one in the next 6 years, so you can call this a failure.

I agree your system is better but if you think there were no double or triple teams you are sadly mistaken. They were doubling just about every time down the floor.

ok fine, ill rephrase. New York cap situation is such that amare is just a building block. Your team is a finished product for the most part. That will be Miamis team for much of the next 5 years or so. New York is still in the building stages. We should have help coming in one form or another and based on the conversation at carmelos wedding it will be melo and cp3 joining amare. If its someone else so be it but my guess is, and I know at least one heat fan believes the same last I spoke, melo to ny is a matter of when more then if. Better?

Also lebron was a different situation. Melo is from ny. His wife wants to be here. Melo has ties to the area and has played here before at Syracuse. Also with lebron, there were whispers after the 2008 Olympics that he planned to join up with executive which we all ignored. I'm not ignoring the whispers on melo or fueling them, simply stating them. There is a reason the kreonke famy is selling the nuggets now. They know the value is about to go to poop

Dude, I watch the games critically. The Heat is notorious for not doubling. What we do is pinch down our guards like I said, late in shot clocks.

if you remember the game...Amare was used up by Big Z...but then Amare started going at him at will and scoring. Spo then took out Big Z (who was having a monster offensive game) for The Warden. if we were doubling, he would not have made such a move.

Spo or Riley for that matter would NEVER double a Knicks team that shoots the 3 like they do.

There is no shame in spending some time in Cell Block 50. The Jail was built to house Dwight Howard last year for 2 games..and after a rough start, The Warden has decided to incarcerate several offenders this year such as Amare Stoudemire, Josh Smith and Dirk Nowitski.

dude..Amare even pushed the Warden and got himself thrown in the hole by the refs. The Warden has a way of getting under his inmates skin.

On Wednesday of next week...the earth might split open and swallow us whole. The Warden welcomes a new inmate for sentencing. Blake Griffin. I really think the earth might reverse it's axis that night.

feltons only on a two year deal with a third year team option. Mathematically it still works

Edit: I love the predictive text...it turned felton in to felon. My Droid thinks I'm talking about the 94 knicks :)

I watch the games critically as well. If you think all you did was pinch down then you need to rewatch both of the games closer.

I saw the Warden shaking his keys at Amare during his minutes after Amare was committing felonies with Big Z in there.

obviously you don't know what you saw if you think there were no double or triple teams of amare. Cause there were at least 3-4 plays in both games where those doubles resulted in stoudemire turnovers because he tried to overpower 2-3 defenders. It's no secret amare is dominant from 10 feet and in. No one player can guard him 1-1 for any length if time. Ask Tim Duncan last night.

Ask Tim Duncan? one game where the Spurs were terrible all around defensively.

    The. Heat. Do. Not. Double.

Or should I say, they double so rarely that the announcers mention it in disbelief when it happens.

We do trap guards all the time, which would suggest that we REALLY do not double.

Boik, if you watch the Heat, we BLITZ the pick and roll, we are one of the few teams in the league that blitzes the pick and roll, which means that Amare gets a catch ONE on one with whoever rotates, which is usually the weakside post defender..which is almost always Joel Anthony.

If we had DOUBLED Amare all game like you said,,,the Knicks would have won BOTH games with all the open threes we would have left.

One thing that you may be seeing...D-Wade freelances so much, especially vs. good Bigs that it sometimes looks like a double.

Wade was sagging so far from Landry Fields in those games, that I know how it can look, but the Heat do not double as a principle.

maybe that's what you do regularly but that's certainly not what you did in the two games vs ny. Teams don't do the same things, the same exact way every night or they would get beaten and other teams would see the weakness in their plan better.

And the knicks 3 point shooting is too inconsistent to say that the knicks would have won both games if there had been doubles. Chandlers j is improved but still comes and goes. Felton is at his best driving. And Gallo isn't aggressive enough yet to.make teams consistently pay. So no, is not necessarily true.

it wasn't just wade. It was lebron at times and bosh at others. The doubles were coming regularly because on the rare occasions when he was singled he was killing it.

The Warden does not like your tone Boik.

I completely disagree. If the Heat doubled on 10% of Amare's touches, I feel it was too high.

Think of it...why would he SHOOT SO MUCH in both Heat games if he was doubled?

the same reason amare shoots so much every night, its what he does best. He gets hell bent on overpowering the opposition. It's why he is the league leader in turnovers. He doesn't always care that the double is coming. And many times he beats two defenders. But there are few combos as good as lebron or wade and Joel Anthony on defense.

And for the record, this is all in good fun bro. I just don't agree with your assessment. I know what I saw as well and I trust my own eyes over someone else's opinion.
