    What a great pick up that would be! He would fit what we need perfectly. That would allow us to focus on OL,TB, and QB

    Yeah, maybe if it was 2006 this would make sense. The last couple years of this guys career have been horrible. Too many games where he does absolutely nothing. He's irrelevant.

    Yeah, even against us, normally he's been a Dolphin Killer. Although that isn't too hard to do nowadays. I guess that is another indictment on Lee Evans. :lol:

    I'm usually against bringing in old WRs, but I'm not sure Lee Evans fits that mold just yet. If he comes in as our 3rd or 4th WR, he can still make some nice contributions against DBs further down on the depth chart.

    And given Kevin Curtis immediately came in as our #3 (with Hartline out), I don't see how Evans doesn't upgrade our WR spot overall.

    Can Evans be used as a return man? Serious question. I'm not sure I've seen him return a kick, but he may be serviceable as a dual threat for us.
