None and done. At least you made it to December. The Lions? At home? Your **** talking card has been revoked.
LOL? You admit they're not going anywhere but you still talk trash? Do you forget that you lost to Miami? At home? At least we should get a good coach out of this and a better QB. The Jets will still be stuck with Mr. Foot Fetish and the Sanchize.
I answered your trash, my good sir. And yes....I didn't forget that we lost to a terrible team at home.
How is going 10-5 with 1 game left to play 'backing in'? Even if the Jags won today we'd still have a shot next week by beating the Bills, AKA CONTROLLING OUR OWN DESTINY. People throw that term around way too loosely these days. I know there are a bunch of other teams that would love to switch spots with us right now. You spend entirely too much time here, you're starting to think like a Dolphin fan.
Mr.Foot Fetish and Sanchez has lead the team to two consecutive playoff berths in 2 years. It's gonna take a helluva lot more than a new coach and a rookie QB to fix what ails the Dolphins. Im happy to be stuck with Rex and Sanchez, it could be worse, we could be like you guys and have Henne, the gutless robotic wonder and the bespectacled Sparano. The nerve of you people. lol
Because they lost and still made it in. Because they will lose next week and still be in. Teams like the Pats, Steelers and Ravens won their way in. It will be enjoyable watching Jets nation suffer through the agony of defeet (ha ha feet. get it?) come playoffs.
Hey EInstien, the Steelers LOST to the Jets last week and clinched a playoff berth, so essentially, going by your flawed Dolphin fan logic, they backed in as well, n'est-ce pas? Backed in is what happened last year with the Colts and Bengals essentially taking the game off. We still have 1 game to go and are 10-5, I dont consider that backing in. Either way, I'd rather 'back in' than not be in it at all. Enjoy the offseason Jets will go 11-5 and face the Chiefs wild card weekend.
I stand corrected I thought they won. But you still backed in and will still be done fast. Enjoy and I'll mail you some Kleenex.
But we're in the playoffs! The DOlphins are making vacation plans. Haters gonna hate. Dont even try to pretend that if given a chance you wouldnt switch places with the Jets right now. Majority of you said the same last yr and we ended up in the AFC Championship game 30 mins away from the Superbowl. Once you're in the tourney anything can happen. If you're not in it, like our southbeach Mammal rivals, then you just have to watch it from the couch.
Come January the Jets will be playing golf just like the Phins. As for your 30 minutes from the SB please show me the championship trophy/ring they handed out for that (those At-A-Boy awards look good hanging in a 6yo bedroom). So being 30 mins from the SB Made them tied for 3rd best in the league.
Amazing a fan of a team that hasnt smelled the playoffs in two years or any type of relative success can talk so much ****. When was the last time the Dolphins won a playoff game? A decade right? I understand tho, sour grapes and all that ****. Win a playoff game, at home or on the road then holla at me, until then your retorts hold no weight love.
If the issue up to debate is whether the jets "backed in" or not, the answer is simple: they backed into the playoffs. They are on a 1-3 streak, and they cliched a playoff birth the day they lost their 3rd game in 4 weeks. That is the definition of "backing in".
I knew that because you're in here posting again. Gloating time is the only time you ever show up. If the mods here worked like the ones on the puke green message boards you would have been banned a long time ago. If Ross does the right thing and brings in a real coach you two will be surprised at what a difference it will make. It will not be unsimilar to when your puke greens ditched Mangini and found somebody else.
continue to whine like a baby because ur team blows. I'll do your mods a favor and show myself out. Toodles.
Of course you do, because you need a decent record to do so and Miami doesn't have one. If the Pats try next week, you will have a losing record yet again. I am not bagging on you....just stating facts.
Not at all. When you know you have no shot due to bad coaching and QB play, like the Jets, making the playoffs is a good thing for fans of other teams. Your going to stick with that coach and QB until it's too late, with no rings to show for. As a Jets fan, will you honestly say you would rather the Dolphins go 7-9, fire a bad coach and QB and pick up good ones, than the Dolphins squeeking into the playoffs with no chance at a SB, and keeping this bad coach and QB. No, you wouldn't. I could care less about playoffs. The Dolphins are a franchise full of playoff appearances. I care about rings.
Their coaching is not perfect but it's better than ours. As a matter of fact the biggest difference between the Jets and the Dolphins right now is coaching. That is the gap. When we get a real coach you'll see the gap close.
At least you know you're a troll. Babies are people like you who gloat like they have some kind of personal hand in the success of a team they like to watch. You have nothing more to do with that than I do with the success of the Ravens who play fifteen minutes from my house.
So...we lost to the crappy Lions at home....and you lost to US at home....hmmmm.... Moral of the story....MEANINGLESS.
Let the Jets run their mouths and talk crap. They've lost 3 out of their last 4 and are going to be a one and done playoff team. Congrats you made the playoffs....all it gets you is an extra week of football. Zzzzzzzz.
well...as you said..."If they try".. well..had the Colts tried last year in the reg. season, you guys would have been out of the playoffs and you wouldn't be so delusional today. But..thus is the life of a Jets fan. Always on the on deck circle but thinks they are at second base.
Hey Jets fans, Great season thus far. We're a great team and the entire National Football League knows it. I think we should rest Sanchez, LT, Greene, Edwards, Holmes, Keller, Brick, Mangold, Revis, Cromartie, Harris, Pace, and Scott. Start Brunell, Joe McKnight, Brad Smith and Cotch, Hartsock, Turner at center, Kyle Wilson and Drew Coleman at CB. Let's rest up for the playoffs!
I'm D-O-N-E Done Done Done arguing about the Jets and Dolphins until the Super Bowl is over after this, because both are nothing compared to the Patriots. The main difference between the Jets and Dolphins is the Jets have been able to squeak by the likes of the Lions, Browns and Broncos while the Dolphins lost to them thanks to Henne's game losing INTs, just switch the Broncos with the Bills. They both have great Top 5 defenses and coaches who struggle with game management. Jets have a better but still young and sketchy QB. Fins probably have better run game that they never use now that LT looks out of gas and old, but Jets have better o-line, at least in the middle. Dolphins have better WRs with Hartline, but a worse QB throwing to them. Both teams are still similar. Patriots demolished both though and have home field advantage throughout. In 40 years since the 1970 merger the Dolphins have been to the playoffs 22 times, which is a lot. Missing the playoffs doesn't hurt this season because we don't have a QB and if our defense got us there we probably would've got spanked by New England or Baltimore, like in 2001. I don't want to just make the playoffs, I want them to have a chance to go to the Super Bowl. I do understand why just making the playoffs can excite certain historically struggling franchises though. [I'm obligated to take a jab at the Jets, right?] Might the Jets draw the Chiefs though? That would be lucky, I don't buy KC.
And with this post (along with others in this thread), your undeserved reputation as a classy Jets fan = out the window. I always knew there was no such thing.
