I'll say this. IAF would be on the roster longer than JT. Both are limited, cept IAF contributes on Special Teams. Also keep in mind, you guys are all painting a situational position for JT. A very very limited situational player. He was offered a contract for just such a player, he turned it down! At this point, Vern Ghoulston is taking reps away from JT. IMVHO IAF is already twice the player that Ghoultson is. JT wouldve already been shown the door guys. He wouldn't be contributing at all, and his playing time wouldve taken time away from other development.
Hmm, mildly disagree, the other thing Taylor and Koa have in common is a sack drought since early in the season, but we still lack the bookend for Wake in passrushing situations and Taylor would offer more in the way of tipped passes and forced fumbles. That said, well, it is not like Taylor has outplayed Q by a whole lot either. As for Taylor being a coach..recall the "Acting" career?
That pig will be flying for sure. My sis sends me one every Christmas. My speculation/hope for JT/ZT is some where between that and seeing Satan throwing snowballs on South Beach. I will let you know if and when I see that to add some credibility to my comment. LOL
With out a doubt he would have hurt Misi Misi is having a better year than JT, last week was JT's best game in two months, he has been horrible.
I do think our STs struggles would have been a valid concern, but I think early in the season when we were struggling on both STs and stopping the run that they would have chosen to use to help the D rather than IAK. I imagine IAK might have spent a couple of weeks on the PS. And I don't buy that JT would have taken Misi's reps. IAK was actually the guy that was taking reps from Misi when he struggled setting the edge. He would have taken IAK's reps.
Padre .... not sure how -- JT has the height and long arms to facilitate the tipped pass that Misi doesn't .... but the reason JT got the tipped passes is that he had nothing -- and i mean nothing if he couldn't get around the edge, whereas, Misi's bull rush is the total opposite. Maybe it's something Misi can learn as he rushing -- but that will take some time and practice. Misi just isn't going to get sacks with his talent set at WOLB, unless the QB is forced his way .... i very much agree and have stated many times about the 'bookend' to compliment Wake .... and my knock on Misi -- speed ... he is coming along and surely seems like he will be a solid player -- but not special, which is what i want at WOLB ...... which 'should' be Wake, but i digress as both of these guys IMHO are playing opposite positions for what their talents dictate.
Zach has said he might like to coach so one never know. I highly doubt JT, being the diva he is, would ever entertain the idea though.
I know we've hashed this once but he was playing too much when Pace went down. He's too old for it but looked good against the Phins after Pace returned to starting.
