Okay, thank you. I was getting confused by your consistency of inaccuracy. I wasn't sure if you actually knew our schedule. Don't take this in a negative way. I know many people that have teams they cheer for but, don't know their schedule, etc.

Nah, let Henne finish the season, 4 games, Henne are you the answer or not?

Think of it as an audition for 2011.

I also believe these final 4 games are an audition for Henning and Sparano for 2011. I would like to see them give Henne, or any QB they decide to toss in there, the ability to audible out to a different formation, etc. Not just a kill play.

Personally I think these final 4 games will tell us a lot about both the coaching staff and the players. Though, we may have to wait until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs to truly have the audition. I don't think we see the kind of change I mentioned until then. I believe they will continue to play it close to vest until they truly have nothing to lose.

Well, cannot blame them as they know Henne far far better than any of "us" can, they have seen the guy for 3yrs.

We are at 5% chance to make the dance, but people do roll double 6's so we are not out just yet.

    My goals are:

-Henne winds up with 19 Td's

    -9-7 for the yr

-Defense stays in the Top 5

Chad Henne, to me, if he ends up better than Gus Frereotte was in 2005 (18 Td's 13 int's 3k yds 52% completions 8-7 record), and we have a winning record and the D is Top 5, THAT is good progress for the Franchise.

People may not realize it, but Penny's 19 Td's were the most for this franchise in a looong time (Fiedler had 20 in 01) if Henne can get near there in yr #2 he is progressing.

As far as them knowing Henne better than any of "us" can: I would have to technically agree with you there. However, there are Coaches/Bosses that do not get the best from their employees because they don't examine the personality of the individual and what makes them tick. You have coaches/managers out there that expect everyone to react to your leadership style and all to respond the same way. Now, I have no clue how they are dealing with this at all but, I can speculate only on observations. Again, only speculation.

I don't remember Miami, ever since Henning became the OC, giving the QB the ability to fully change the formation/play calling. I could most certainly be wrong but, I just don't remember it.

I guess I need to go back and look at the games before I continue here. Since without knowing for sure, I could be misleading others that don't record,re-watch or remember all the games per play, I won't post further on this.

I do agree with you on seeing improvement. I just can't base it off of another player in another system with different talent. I will say that I would like to see Henne post more TDs than INTs before the end of the season. But more importantly, I want to see him and the team execute better as a whole. Even if the OL and RBs aren't trying to sell a PA fake.... I want to see Henne TRY to sell it... take leadership. That's what I want to see. Henne actually taking a leadership role.

I want to see him get on the players that aren't trying to sell the PA fake, even if it is an obvious call and him and the rest of the offense disagrees with the call. If this happens and the play succeeds then we know it's not Henning, but the offensive unit as a whole not executing. If it fails, then we know it's on Henning, etc. Henne needs to take this opportunity to DEMAND that his offense executes. If he can do that, we can truly find the root of the problem, IMO.

Henne is not selling the play fake because he does not wish to take his eyes off of the defense as his worst performances int wise have come when he sells the play fake, gets his head around, then has to reacquire the defensive formation..all within that 3 second window...

I don't think this in on him alone. Well, actually it is. That's the point about leadership... he needs to convince everyone on offense, regardless of whether or not they believe the play will work or not, to sell it. I believe only then will he have true respect of the players in the huddle. Once everyone, coaching staff included, see them executing flawlessly and the plays still failing or now succeeding, will they change something. Granted they may change the QB... but perhaps they change their coaching instead. At least a change for the better, for this franchise, could happen.
