Eh, the problem is unless he is unblocked he will not do very much as by putting his hand down in the dirt you negate his quickness advantage.

Boy the jests are being dismantled..wow...

Sanchez looks bad. The Jets better think about drafting a new franchise QB this spring.

He's going to be unblocked. It's a safe pressure, as he's filling the vacant area left by the blitzer. He's dropping in a 3-3 zone and covering C/F or H for any flare action from the tailback.

Yes, they were. He does not always drop but most of the time, he does. If they did the same thing with him every time, it would be predictable.

Funny thing, Brady is a sitting duck for defensive back blitzes as in worst in the NFL at defeating them.

Figured this was going to happen. I'd give the Jets major props if they came back in this one. But they have yet to beat a non-division opponent with a winning record this season. They barely escaped the Browns, Lions and Texans and beat the Broncos by a Pass Interference, so I have yet to buy into them as contending with the Patriots, Ravens, Falcons, Saints, Steelers, Packers. [Hey though...we actually LOST to the Browns, so it's not that bad]

I don't think the Jets will beat the Steelers or Bears, but I'd be shocked if they lost to the Bills so they seem bound for a wild card. If I were a Jets fan[Can't believe I typed that...] I'd rather have the wild card anyway, go to KC or Jacksonville and try to get momentum.

"They don't go back to the gimmick" - Gimmick? Since when is a variation of the Single Wing a gimmick? The league started off with the Single Wing lol.

Great play Spikes. Horrible decision Sanchez. Spikes is always around the ball, especially at UF.

Hernandez so dangerous in open field. They did the same thing in the first game with him, got him in open field and asked Jets to tackle him, which they took horrible angles against.

Sanchez is pulling a Henne tonight. Maybe the Dolphins and Jets should switch QBs. Warm weather Miami would suit the Southern California QB better.. But then we'd just choke in December again, so I guess Dolphin fans wouldn't want Sanchez. [It's not much different with Henne though.]

PS I hope it SNOWS on Sunday in East Rutherford. I love snow football games, it's not just cause I think Sanchez plays his worst in the cold and snow [because he'll be facing the Dolphins so he can turn it over as much as he wants and we still won't score.]

Player development, their coaching staff and their scheme. They put players in position to make plays because they built around their strengths.

Well I know how they stay so good. I just wish it wasn't so. Brady has to retire/get old sometime. Thank god for that.

Very true but they don't draft great. I don't even know if they draft average. They do a good job adding free agents and building around their strengths though.

I'd bet they are the most heavily scouted team in the NFL Alen simply because they are forced to cycle players out of new england due to the mtn of draft picks they have accumulated, they dump high picks regularly.
