Well, look at it this way, now the running game will be less important and the pats secondary is their weak point.
You don't go away from your game plan yet if you're the Jets. You keep pounding the ball off-tackle and stretches. You keep moving that DL laterally and if you can continue to run the no huddle (with effectiveness), you go for it so you can keep Brandon Spikes on the field and attack him in coverage. He makes plays on the ball but he's a bit stiff in hips and ankles. Nevertheless, I like him a lot but still, he has his weaknesses. That secondary has improved. They're running a lot of Man-Free, Soft 2 Read and Quarters.
Wait the patriots have one of the youngest defences in the NFL and they get a free pass??? Anybody catch that?
Kyle Arrington making a play. He's stepping up so far, which is huge because he's struggled a lot IMO.
Kind of interesting Alen they were using him as a DE in passrushing situations vs the Colts, Arrington had a hand in the dirt.
Yep, they've done it quite a bit this year with him. It's part of their fire zone packages. Think about it - instead of DE's dropping out and in mismatches, you drop a CB playing the DE position and you're basically playing with an extra DB while blitzing even more DB's. Smart stuff by BB.
Double Eagle - the 5-2 front or the 46 Bear defense. Tate's gotta learn "dead legs" there. Dead legs on sideline man.
The Jets are being exposed for what they are....FRAUDS. Detroit gave them a game with the worst clock management I've seen in years. The Browns gave them a win by inexplicably fumbling in chip shot field goal range. Houston gave them a win by being complete idiots with :20 left in the game. Their record shows them as 9-2 but it is phony. I think they go 10-6 and get ka-bonged in the wild card round.
