The media would have an explosion if Peyton Manning went to the Dolphins and played Brady twice a year with division titles on the line. Especially since it's looking like the Jaguars and Patriots will be playing in 2011, no Colts/Pats Manning/Brady love fest next year. Unless the Jets beat the Pats tomorrow.

There's a 99% chance it won't happen though. You know if he was willing to leave Indy though, Ross would pay.

The media would have an orgy. Two Boston-Miami rivalries.

Aww too bad I wanted to see Manning lead a drive but instead the Colts STs made a play.

Come on man...I know what you're saying, believe me. but in his defense, does he really have to explain that? The colts aren't letting Peyton get away.

    I hear ya.

Imagine though... here some are calling for Peyton Manning, and the guy threw 4 picks today, 4 last week, and 3 the week before. Hell, this fanbase would already be calling for him to be cut, or traded, or we'd be booing him off the field now

Manning is on the decline anyways. Throwing picks not looking the field. We saw Marino decline that way. He stayed with his team and retired. That is why it is absolutely dumb to even fathom Manning in Miami. Manning isn't going to leave the Colts You people are ridiculous.

Well, in Peyton's defense, the colts have an awful lot of injuries right now. Its surprising to see Peyton playing like this though regardless.

So, maybe Polian also thinks Peyton is starting to decline. So, he says go ahead and test FA Peyton. :dunno:

Hey, I know it won't happen. You know it won't happen. But, stranger things have happened...no?

Listen, I love Peyton. He's my favorite QB since Danny. I wanted him straight out of college. But, just because I love the guy, and I still think he's the best QB in the league, doesn't mean he's gonna be wearing aqua and orange next year. But, I/we can still dream, right?!

I'll throw out some other options:
    1) Peyton Manning
    2) Tom Brady
    3) Drew Brees
    4) Phillip Rivers
    5)Aaron Rodgers

There's 5 QB targets for us to go after!
It may be hard, but I could probably come up with a couple more, but I need to go back to sleep.

Too bad only one of those QB's is a free agent. Until Peyton signs an extension, he's an option.

Where is the "substance" from your posts? Come on Travis, you act like the thread police, yet you don't even go with the standard you're trying to force others to follow

And you say this is a message board. Good call. Thanks. But where in the rules of said "message board" does it state you can't post anything enless it has substance? Or does it have to be something you agree with, then it's fine?

I want to see/be there when they pull Manning for the wild cat
You'll see a nice tight spiral shot like a laser beam as the ball goes through the coaches box and decapitates Dan Henning

I agree it adds nothing, but you calling him out does nothing but extend one bad post into multiple. you know?

You guys have a better chance at winning the Super Bowl then getting Peyton Manning next year. That guy will not go anywhere.

No way Manning plays for anyone besides the Colts.

As for possible quarterbacks to bring in if Henne doesn't improve? This one may not be popular with a lot of you but he's someone who I think can still play and needs a change of scenery in the worst way...

    Carson Palmer.

I watch a lot of Eagles game because the dude I go to the bars with is an Eagles fan... I have more faith in Kolb being a long-term starter somewhere than Henne, honestly. It's pretty close though... I see good things from both quarterbacks, but also some flaws. However I think they are very similar as far as their potential to be a franchise quarterback goes. I wouldn't mind bringing him in for competition for like a 4th round pick.
