Henne is sleepwalking through the game. Thats how the leader of our offense acts?..you don't think everyone picks up on that?
Well, at least that is something positive for the phins heading into halftime. As bad as the offense has been today, its a whole new ballgame second half, all tied up. That's huge for us.
All I want for Christmas is no play action fakes the entire 2nd half of this game... That and for Tony Sparano to take some time management classes.
One step forward and two steps back for Chad Henne. This is maddening after watching how well he played the past two games. It's not even like Cleveland is getting a ton of pressure on him.
That was well worth being wrong over but you were only wrong by two inches so don't hang your head.... lol
From Day one this year...we hot the 30 yard line and we just stop dead in our tracks...everygame!. Its a running joke with the people I watch the game with...they hit the 30 and I yell drive is over.
I think that's just it. Henne's biggest weakness, IMO, is throwing into heavy zone coverages, and it's magnified even more today without having a big target in Brandon Marshall running the routes Bess is and using his body to shield the ball from defenders. I don't think they've got enough faith in Roberto Wallace just yet to let him run those same routes. But, for the love of all things Dolphins, can we please stop with the PA - it's fooling no one today.
It really is. And the inconsistency. But today it has really almost all been Chad Henne's fault. He is playing very poorly. Hartline was so open on that first pick. Penny could have made a better downfield throw. Where's that strong arm we've seen in the past? Gruden turned down the UM job... just saying.
Maybe that's part of the reason but Henne's throw to Hartline for the first pick was extremely poor. Hartline was wide open, he would have went for six with a decent throw. He also underthrew him in the end zone on the first drive.
I agree with the one to Hartline. The one he tried to squeeze to Bess was what I was referring to. The one to Hartline was simply a piss poor throw.
Disagree. We are playing like we have all year. When henne is on we play well when he sucks we suck. He's still inconsistent week to week
Henne needs to make the effort to spread the ball out more, so far that has been unsuccessful, but he has to keep doing so, those B players can help things immnesley
I was reading a story in a Cleveland paper where they compared their OC to ours. Seems about dead on.
Alright. We need the 2nd half of all 2nd halves. The way our defense played, we should have gotten a lead to help us out there.
Yup, Henne is the reason we are showing poorly today. The drop by Ricky and the blocked kick were the only other real bad plays (didn't like the Polite call to the flat, but it was a bad throw anyway). Henne should not have any picks right now, and should have had an easy long TD.
