Lions area very physical team, they really bring the wood when they tackle guys, Woodhead has been up in the air 4 or 5 times already
There are reasons why the Broncos gave him away after trading a #1 pick to move up and draft him. #11 is Stefan Logan, a cat I wanted Miami to land after the Steelers waived him, he is probably a top 3 in the NFL Returner
The way the camera moved, I thought Logan fumbled on that kick off return, but he just bounced off of tacklers. To me, the Lions are nutz for not using him in passing formations, you want to get the ball into playmakers hands in broken field situations.
It's a shame that NE has a couple boneheads in that secondary or they'd be a lot better. Devin McCourty is becoming a real player for them IMO. They run a lot of Man-Free, Quarters and Quarters to soft Cover 2 and he handles his responsibilities really well. James Sanders is a solid player IMO. Not great but smart and versatile. Brandon Meriweather is a bonehead who has no clue of intersecting players nor anticipating the pass and then Kyle Arrington + Darius Butler are average and lack physicality. They could also use a pass rush lol.
Bush is giving the Cowboys the game. He dropped an easy TD and then fumbled a PR that the Cowboys got 7 on.
Cowpokes are so lucky to recover back that fumble by FJones. I would like for us to consider Garrett as OC if the Cowpokes decide not to hire him as full-time HC. This of course if Sparano is still HC next season.
In 2011 I think there will be a large amount of inhouse promotions over hiring external Head Coaches simply because of the mechanics of the potential lockout, a new coach will have maybe a month to work with their players and assistants will have a compressed schedule as well as they are to be part time employees for most of the duration of the lockout.
Sadly, but true, true. hahaha You bring up a very good point & I have to agree with you. Does this mean we will have Sparano for at least one more year? Most likely so following what you wrote. Williams fumble is looking like it's going to bite them in the *** if the Saints score a TD here. Man, Brees throws one beautiful deep ball.
It's gotta be worth a shot at this point. I mean, the Phins aren't even playing tonight; we've got nothing to lose That one's the least offensive one I could find.
I was thinking more something which encapsulates the entire team, but this works. Hopefully it works.
It's like the Bengals defense made a conscious effort to suck on that last play to Keller. Triple-teamed the other guy who isn't Keller...
And Cosby again, not doing his team any favors trying to take the punt inside the 10. Not calling for the fair-catch even. . . once again.
