Well, the Titans finally went belly up and lost, so there is a bit of goodnews.

I'd think the Jags pulled it out, as did KC, but the Raiders lost.

Mixed bag so far, two teams ahead of us lost, two teams won.

 

I'm apparently going to watch our division rivals win out and settle for another year of finishing behind the Jets and Pats. I love mediocrity.

 

It certainly doesn't hurt (except our SoS).

 

Well, in only matter to me news, Montreal Alouettes are going to their third consecutive Grey Cup, their Head Coach is Mark Trestman and he will win up coaching in the NFL and soon.

Weve got them right where we want them. It makes me want to go to the Pro Shop and buy something, because with my purchase the Dolphins might send one more scout that wil end up discovering the next superstar for my beloved Dolphins. The team will do some fancy accounting, track me down, and I'll be able to honestly tell everyone the value and reward that's found in supporting your team even when they've got a losing record in home games, or being shut out on national tv, and we'll win out in the end woo yaaaay jokes on them

 

Jets were shutout this year and by a team we beat.

The mains are approaching Zoo levels even with a 5-5 record.

 

Have to say I am pretty juiced with that win. I was SICK to my stomach with the way they choked up that lead. Their defense is SO overrated. I've been saying it all year. Just no excuse for that.

But I think it is pretty clear that Sanchez is the real deal. Lousy coverage or not, that throw to Edwards was perfect. He put it over one defender and dropped it in front of the other. And this was after he looked over the whole field. His winner to Holmes was also a thing of beauty. Opposing fans have ragged his arm, but he can make every throw he needs to make. Add in footwork that can't be taught and you have a franchise QB.

Jets need to find a pass rush or they aren't winning a championship. But I never expected them to win one this year. I wanted to see Sanchez take the next step and he has done that. I don't care what his completion percentage is. The guy is a winner.

 

Completion % or not, he has indeed taken that next step it seems.

 

I have little doubt that Pennington would be a HoFer in that offense (if he could stay healthy).

 

He also takes a ton of shots down the field which are low percentage plays. But he seems to hit at least one a game these days.

I don't think he will a superstar, but he will a QB you can win a championship with....and not just as a game manager. He is starting to makes the big throws that win games.

 

I think he will be for the mere fact of where he plays and his hispanic heritage.

 

He may have been a HOFer staying healthy in almost any offense. What a damn shame what he's dealt with while that douchebag Favre has been an ironman. Sometimes there really is no justice in this world.
