No team disappoints it's fans more than the Miami Dolphins.

Sparano should come under scrutiny for this one, the Oline was a ****ing toxic waste dump, that is supposedly his area of expertise and yet they had their worst game by far, could not pass block, could not run block, could not pick up blitzes, they were just god awful.

Bingo. Same way our offense is a problem with Henne. Its not the right fit. Coaches need to be able to understand the strenghts of their players, and tailor the offense to those strengths. We fail to do that consistently on offense. That directly falls to Mr Henning, followed by Mr Sparano. Something needs to change. FAST

And there were no running lanes, Carey whiffed on two sacks and who knows how many pressures.

And Henning kept Thigpen in the pocket all night, the Bears had an easy job of it.

Speed rush upfield, aim for a spot, Thigpen was glued there time after time, no adjustments, nothing, just "good luck Tyler"

Watch the first drive....Thiggy is nervous and Henning dials up a reverse to BH. Why risk the exchange?

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

Did I say that? It definitely would have given us a better chance. Thigpen is a classic scrambler. Henning doesn't adapt the game to the players he has... That's what the major problem is. Every damn DC knows what we're going to do, no matter who the QB is, because Henning doesn't adapt...

We have failed with every QB we've had starting this year and last. How the hell is that not an OC issue? Seriously.

Yep, especially when you have a:

    LT with a shoulder harness
    RT has -0- NFL starts
    Fillin Center

And yet, let's make a pocket for a 6'1 Qb?

No, but it would have given the offense a better chance of moving the ball.

Exactly and on national television. I was hyping this game to friends and I am just so disappointed in this team. 3 of the worst and most pathetic performances of this teams history have come this season. If the guy from the redskins was mad we have a every right to be freaking outraged as fans. This team is a waste of my damn time.

Jeez....after reading most of the posts in this thread I'm embarrassed to call myself a Dolphins fan.

The truth about tonight? Some of you know it, some of you are completely clueless.

Really quick...here you go, clueless ones. This is what happened tonight:

We had our 3rd string QB starting for us.

We had our 2nd string center starting for us.

Our best O lineman has a major injury that may require surgery.

We lost our 2nd string center.

    We lost multiple O lineman.

Our #1 WR got injured before the half.

Our #1 WR played dumb before he was hurt. (However, I do think he and Cutler were just messing around and the refs threw a flag)

Our O Line couldn't block a team of 80 yr old women after the injuries.

Henning is a moron and called a horrible game.

Our defense played great until they tired out after spending 99% of the game on the field.

The biggest problem tonight was injuries. Injuries made it so there was no pass or run blocking. Injuries made it so our defense was on the field the entire game. Injuries made this team look horrible. And they are not horrible. They are not great.

The jury is still out on Thiggy. NO ONE..and I mean NO ONE playing in the NFL today could have done much better than Thiggy did with the blocking, or lack there of, that he had tonight. And if anyone says differently you are just as worse as the Henne haters.

Thigpen came into the game last week clueless and played good. This week he comes in coached up by henning and lee and this is the bull**** we got out of it. Fire Henning, Thigpen might not be amazing but he is definitely better than this. This is purely a product of a horribly called game plan by a horrible coaching staff. If Sparano is the man he needs to acknowledge that right now and salvage his job or all fingers will be pointing at him this offseason. As it looks now this team is heading toward i big decline and if we lose some more games by this magnatude i can almost garantee a coaching change next year which means another losing season. Get a OC that know what the hell he's doing and that is hip to the football of this f*cking decade maybe? What We just saw was a confused *** 3rd string QB attempting to work this POS Henning calls an offense. Thigpen, Henning might of just costed ya a big contract with a team this offseason pal.

It's ridiculous to expect to be a playoff competitor sometimes? The local Ravens fans here get that almost every year. Miami has some good players. We're obviously still jinxed in the coaching department. This is karma for running the Don out of town. And then Marino. We are paying the price for Wayne H. and Wanny sending those guys to retirement.

disagree about henning and thigpen but the injuries made it tougher for both of them to do anything. the injuries ended our season on sunday. why people expected us to be able to overcome them is beyond me

    gut reaction?

    not really.

My take is it would not have mattered who the Qb was, the Oline was dominated, plain and simple, but Thigpen, if he was playing better could have mitigated some of carnage, but still he makes his bones outside of the pocket and he was not moved outside of the pocket very often.

And keep in mind, our most effective offensive player was..Nolan Carroll, when Marshall went crazy this game was over.

Mark this down, do not ever trust Brandon Marshall..he screws his own teammates, that is unacceptable and should not be forgotten.

Think Corey Procter and his shredded knee thought "that is Brandon being Brandon?"

Nope, I see cats with heart palying at 100% like Wake and even Sapp when the game was out of reach, Marshall is garbage, he ****ed his own guys.

Cannot stand anyone like that, **** him

When do you think it's okay to have high expectations of this team Adam? 30 years after Marino? Is that enough time to rebuild.

it was ridiculous to expect to make the playoffs this year. it wasnt ridiculous to think we had a shot at the playoffs if we stayed healthy however. after the injuries on sunday however, to continue to expect to make the playoffs or even hope to make the playoffs was ridiculous. the season ended when we beat the Titans and lost our players

So when Henne sat his rookie yr, he was a second stringer for a reason, when he was benched after 21 starts, he was a second stringer for a reason?

Bill Bellichick could make a deep playoff run with our roster. He's doing more with less right now, Tom Brady aside. We are better at many positions than they are and they're sitting near first place. Expecting playoffs was far from ridiculous.

no next year. me and a handful have been saying it all year. 2011 is the year not 2010. we just need a couple more playmakers and then we need the good luck to stay healthy. if we had some breaks go our way this year we could have snuck into the playoffs but we werent going anywhere in them. next year we shopuld have enough playmakers that we should make the playoffs and actually win a few games when we arrive

You're wrong, we can expect playoffs when we finally get good coaching. No team is stacked all over their roster. And no team stays completely healthy. We have enough talent. The leadership is the problem. They're not getting it.

Nice job by the techies, we have some nice color on the edges now, not quite as good as the old blue waves, but it is a start, and during a game as well.
