It couldn't hurt to sign him to a 1yr contract. They are in serious need of depth at the position and should look to the draft as well. Also, who knows if Rodgers can actually stay healthy for a full season.
I'd much rather have McCown. I honestly didn't want Pep here in the first place, and wouldn't want him here now. I was big on bringing in Brees, but that ship has long since sailed.
