Broncos are starving for passrushers, so this is not good news for Jarvis Moss, if I were a GM Moss would be maybe the #5 "top" OLB out walking the street.

What does make him interesting is his time with Mike Nolan in Denver, and the fact Ikaika Francis has not shown much at all.

Moss, Crable, Ugoh, could and maybe should be on the Dolphins radar over the 10 day break after Thursday's game.

Yeah, that Lamarr Woodley sure turned into a huge disappointment..:chuckle:

With the FO's love of size, have to wonder if Moss will get a look after the TNF game as Sparano and Irish really use time off to try and make some moves.

No surprise the Jets are almost as aggressive as the dolphins at taking looks at players.

No surprise, but here is where the NFL kinda does things wrong, Moss is getting a second chance in Oakland, but the opportunity will be a couple of plays a game, if at all, then he will be gone in a roster purge.

That is, if he is even activated, ditto Veikune, who they leave inactive, ditto Crable, who was quickly placed on the practice squad, so the second chance is more like a "stick somewhere on roster and forget about them".

This is the place where the NFL needs a minor league, or maybe those guys are better off heading to the CFL just so they can get some snaps and get after the passer because "making a roster" when you were a high draft pick more or less is the kiss o death for their careers.

But here is the other side of heading to the CFL:

They lose money in the short term, the NFL minimum wage is 400k in the CFL it is 43k, so few are willing to take the 360k financial hit as well as the risk of heading to the CFL for the opportunity to play and showcase what they have to offer.

The UFL pays 50k, but the 150k transfer fee to the NFL is a non starter as they are not going to subsidize a competiting league and maybe the CFL's 1 yd wide neutral zone is a better evaluator of talent than a street FA tackle in the UFL is to the Scouts.
