off of the field! http://www.usatoday.com/sports/foot...ronnie-brown-cover_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip pretty awesome what hes doing on his off days.
Ronnie Brown has always been an excellent person off the field. He has also maintained a high level of integrity despite being underutilized and mis-utilized his entire career here. Too bad he has lost a step and will probably be gone next year..
My mom is a teacher at deerfield middle and was at this assembly. About a month ago she called me all excited about it. She said he was great, a great speaker and reallly got his message across to the kids. I love this because I always enjoyed watching Ronnie play, but have never really heard him speak. Its just nice to know hes one of the good guys.
I had forgotten how rough FL public schools can be, torching a kid over some nonsense is just sad. Ronnie B is going a good thing however he'll leave, and Mortal Kombat just starts right back up.
The school has had a couple of tough years, but just like any school it has all types of kids. Its just sad when a couple bad kids ruin a reputation.
Honestly I only care what he is doing on the field these days....he is obviously doing this to look good in the eyes of the court...Lets start getting some yards, and TD's RB....
Come on man its about the kids. I also forgot, when he went to deerfield it was the week we played the jets and JT ran in during the assembley as a suprise,
Ricky was on the field during the final game clinching drive.....wow.... I still see his workload increasing and him making a 2nd half run..especially with the return of the wildcat.
Yes he is doing it for the kids no doubt, and thats cool, but while it isnt court ordered sure I agree, it is not out of the realm to think in the back of his mind (through his lawyer) he thinks by doing this he looks good in the eyes of the court, in hopes that the judge just dismisses it.... I agree, just dont think it is that big of a deal....in fact all of these guys should be doing things like this for the kids...hell I still volunteer on Thanksgiving/Chirstmas to hand out food to the homeless, and hand out the presents to kids without parents through a program at my work...
its also not out of the realm of possibility hes smoking crack and has a gambling problem, doesnt mean its fact, and doesnt mean its correct to spit it off....cause its "possible"
I don't know what it says about me that the first thought I had as well was that he was doing this to appease the court once he has his day. However, regardless of whatever his true motivations are, if this actually did save a life, then he is to be commended.
the NFL has a drug testing policy, so if he did smoke crack they would know hahahaha, that and of course you would be able to tell by looking at him...
that we both are cycnical about society hahaha...hell I work with nothing but criminals, there is always an underlining meaning to everything that is done as a good deed by them.... and I know RB isnt a criminal...just saying... I didnt read all that, I stop at him showing up somewhere to talk to kids....so for that I stand corrected as usual...
