Cobbs misses a 20+ catch. Hartline doesn't prevent INT and misses another catch. More dancing in the backfield. Why leave it at these two?
Sorry but his dropping of passes in key situations is quickly overshadowing his blocking abilities. You could throw a lineman in at that position for blocking.
They lack trust in Hartline sooooo much that Fasano is running wide out routes.....and dropping them. Open your eyes people. This is the no talent offense.
To which Henning would probably ask why you think he kept running Marshall down the field. Do you think he's been running just for exercise?
You can't compare Henne to those guys. At all. He hasn't shown anything near their potentolial. Even a lot of his completions are terrible decisions he finds a way to muscle in. I just don't think from 12-14 to what now 8-7 INT is a legitimate improvement. He locks onto receivers has no pocket presence and doesn't make pre snap reads. I only started criticizing him once I realized in his third season he still makes the same mistakes he did in college. Even most of his best plays have been great efforts by the WR and not great on his part. Aeven that drop by Fasano was just tipped. He doesnt put the right arch on most of his throws either. I was excited about him at first (he's in my darn sig) I just dont see any significant improvement.
That's just terrible. Ricky Williams was WIDE open on the left side for a 1st and MORE. I want to win now--I'm all for Chad Pennington's return as the starter.
Finally, a little play action stuff, screen etc.. Now if we could get used to that we'd have something.
