DJ, It's on CBS local channel 4. I think someone posted that you can watch it later. My impression, which I am sure of, is that close to being a VG team. There was little doubt in what both were saying. They also said a play here, and a play there is making the difference.
i've been screaming this! we were a play or 2 away from beating the jets and a play or 2 away from beating the steelers even though we really won that game. we could have very easily been 5-1. Not to mention that the 3 teams we lost to are considered the 3 best teams this year by most experts. i just want to be 8-0 on road games and win at least 3 at home! lol
In our current state, we're close. But if someone believes our QB or coaching is holding us back, I disagree. We need some key players. IMO, a new TE who creates match-up issues, a new LB for coverage, a new tall WR with speed (or Roberto Wallace becoming what we want), a dangerous returner, and fresh legs in the RB stable. Honestly, if we can replace Lex, Ronnie, and Cobbs, I'd be happy. I like Ronnie but I just don't see it. If he can turn it on I'd be happy. If we could draft a complete back early and a speedster and banger, that'd be nice. Maybe even DeAngelo Williams who's a FA next year. We don't need better coaching so much as many on here have gotten it in their head that we have this super team when we don't. Also, anyone think LaMichael James is coming out in the 2011 Draft? I don't follow college football much but I watch Miami and Oregon games.
i have been saying the same thing. our problem is consistency right now. not surprising considering how young we are but once we jell we are a legitimate afc championship contender. hopefully it happens this year. if not definitely next year
Adam & Ricky, In the past, we had woulda, coulda, shoulda excuses. This season we have reasons, and a Whole Lotta hope. I cannot wait to see what hisis team is gonna be like in a month, if not before.
Every team has holes. We can be scary with what we have. This is or best team in MANY A MOON. Just need a bit of time.
