But there’s a game tonight.

Thinking of going over 45 with this Titans/Jags game.

Edit: taking Titans/Jags over 45, and Yankees to win.

I was leaning towards Tennessee but the Jags are a team that sometimes shows up and other times stays home. You never know when it's going to happen. That's why I didn't have a play.

Already down 14-0 at home and Collins is in.

I’m hoping this game takes off really soon. Garrard has actually made some nice throws but his receivers are pulling a Derek Hagan. Just as long as the game goes over, though…

At this point I'm hoping the Titans run up the score. 34-13. It's plausible.

Rangers go up 6-0 and the Titans-Jags are coming nowhere near 45.

Oh well, there’s always college football.

I'm buying the .5 just in case. But I'm rolling my Pittsburgh winnings into this game.

Any thoughts on Oregon tonight? The spread looks huge but they are a machine

I got them at -25 1/2...I hate laying that many but think they will try to put on a show on a national stage

Atlanta has some key defensive injuries. Robinson is questionable, Weatherspoon is out.

I took Atlanta −3 anyway. They should be able to get that and then some at home.

So much for LSU’s lucky streak. They crapped the bed and cost me the over.

ATL was a good pick. I also took Ravens-Bills over 40. Picked the 49ers to win, though. Whoops. Also picked the Dolphins to win. Quadruple whoops.

I’m down pretty deep due to baseball.

I’ve got the Giants +4. Did pretty well ATS yesterday, also hit big on Vikings @ Packers going over 44. Hoping my luck holds, I could use it.

Kitna is not a bad quarterback. He’s just not going to win this game for the Cowboys.

Nice NFL weekend for me, LineJudgeHadMoneyOnTheSteelersGate aside.

    Miami Heat −2.

I’m shocked the spread is that low, but I’ll take it. Your 2010-11 championship caliber Miami sports franchise is here!

I dont think they will blow out the Celtics in their building on Opening Night...yes the Heat have every all world player there is, but the Celts are savy vets.....now in the middle of the season when they are all tired and their age is showing certainly.....but I dont see them getting crushed tonight....I wouldnt be shocked even if they win...

For the record as I said before I dont have a favorite team in the NBA...

The Celtics the last couple of years have started slow and then turned it on as the playoffs approached, IIRC.

But yeah, the Heat can win by 2 points in Boston easily.

To magically think the Heat are going to start whitewashing the elite teams by 40 after not playing together at all in the pre-season and are hurt...all I would have to say is temper your expectations...it is a long season, and by the end they will be firing on all pistons, but you could tell last night Boston was going to win...

Gonna post my NFL picks now since I'll be in Cincy this weekend for the game.

    Washington +2.5
    GB +6.5
Miami +2.5 (Gotta bet since I'll be there. )

And here's my big money pick of the week. (2-0YTD)

    Rams -3

You’re telling me that it was unreasonable to expect the Heat to win by two measly stinking points? Come on…

Anyway, lots of picks for tonight.

    Miami Heat −7
    Miami Heat @ Philadelphia 76ers over 192
    Boston Celtics ML −190
Texas Rangers @ SF Giants over 5.5
    Texas Rangers to win WS

And because the line is bound to go up, I’m going to post this one now:

Houston Texans @ Indy Colts over 49.5.

I expect that over to move to the mid 50s before Sunday.

    A little tip....

    NEVER...EVER...EVER....

bet a road favorite after a big win at home on the second of a back to back.

Boston loses to putrid Cleveland. Case closed. it is like stealing money.

Did decently on the other picks, though. 2 out of 4 isn’t too bad for a rookie.
