Thread title says it all. Dissing the calls, etc is all fine and dandy but we are over .500 with a big win in hostile territory. I am just loving Wake's play though. The pass rush all around has been great (Misi one sack, Starks another). I know one of our members keeps count of Wake + Misi v. JT + Porter. Add those up man they are pulling away!!! EDIT: Correction, 2.5 sacks shy.
Wake is seeing dollar signs and we're winning games because of him. both the Minnesota and Green Bay victories were entirely because of him. If the trend continues, he's going to sack the bears 6 times.
I just dont think you can ask Jason who and have JT in your name on here. On topic though....Wake has been HUGE. Does it piss anybody else off a little though that he didn't get much playing time last year. I know that "he wasn't ready" but still, the guy knows how to rush the QB and is athletic enough to get himself into position to play the run.
I agree, but the times he did come in (and the staff catching on) is precisely what caused Joey to complain and ultimately get the boot. As far as I know, the reason was because they wanted him to grow and not take steps back...a way for him to ease into 3downs duty. Notice he only had 3 tackles (which came from the 3 sacks). To take the next level he must get more involved in all aspects of the game.
its my initials... but I love JT but Wake has been Huge for us this year that we don't need JT. Still one of my favorite player of all time
You always have a super gay grin though Mor? Wakey nice pickup and he opens the door for more CFLers to take a shot. Dolphins team record for sack is what 22 by OGun?
It's also worth mentioning Koa Misi, as well. He's been a little bit less prolific, but the guy has had a handful of pressures that could have been sacks with more seasoning, and he's on pace for what...9.5 sacks so far this season?
Koa's real talent is he just does not stay blocked for long, he can shed a Olinemen or blocker and make a play lightning fast..he is fun to watch.
