Whether the pick is J. Long, C. Long, or Gholston, there's really no bad option, unlike the history of another franchise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZxNeFLuY98
Haha, I remember when they passed on Sapp. I was young but I knew it was a HUGE mistake. I remember asking my dad why the Jets passed on a guy who played for the Hurricanes (I assumed they had all the best players) Pops simply replied "Because they're the Jets son."
We could easily put a Miami Dolphins draft blunders video together complete with fans chanting for Brady Quinn during last years draft. So I wouldn't gloat too much, Jets fans do lurk here and they drink alot.
You bring up a good point though Alen. When I was 12, I couldnt tell you anything about guys coming out in the draft. TV and internet has kids so knowledgeable these days.
Jets81 is a good guy and I've seen BleedinGreenNC and Bill Parcells a few times. Good guys, all of them. But remember what grownups told you when you went to the zoo as a kid, "Don't tease the animals".
No no, they are good guys. I forgot about BGNC he is cool. I was mainly referring to a couple of knuckle-heads on FH. None of which are the 3 you just mentioned.
I did consider that, but it's too early to categorize choosing Ginn over Quinn as a mistake--not that we haven't had our share.
Sorry, I didn't see it. Actually, I came across the clip by accident while reading another site. Thanks for the welcome.
Haha its ok, we all make mistakes , plus nothing wrong with seeing the Jets screw up Anytime, glad to have you aboard.
There are a few jokers from every team that cause problems on websites, we had a few Miami Dolphins ones as well. I'm a huge Ginn fan, but rivals always point to draft day and post videos of our fans bellyaching over Quinn. Then there is the whole wasted draft thing where none of our picks from 4-5 years straight are currently with the team.
Feel free to repost YouTube of the clock play as well. Another classic Jets moment that never gets old.
Don't misunderstand, I loved our draft last year and I'm a big believer in both Beck and Ginn. I'm just looking at it from a rival fans perspective. The Phins rookies didn't have the instant results that some expected, that's their ammunition.
