being classless: http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/McNabb-jersey-gets-torched-in-Linc-parking-lot-video.html McNabb was a damn good QB for a long time for them, he deserves better then that. No one burnt JT's jersey and he went to a rival team. I mean really...wow
They did give him a nice ovation when he came out in the beginning of the game, although it could have easily been them cheering that he was now a Skin. Rough crowd there, all McNabb did was play at a HOF level and get them to 5 NFC Championships, a Superbowl but apparently the fans in Philly have some short memories, they act like their franchise has a long history of winning when they've been horrible for most of their existence.
You must have missed the standing ovation the crowd gave him upon his introduction around 47 seconds in YouTube - Donovan McNabb introduction-phillyphanatics.com really wish people would quit painting philly out to be so bad.
In the Dolphins/Jets parking lot this year there were quite a few Jets jerseys being burnt. At least one or two were Jason Taylor's lol. It's not an uncommon thing lol
Dude, Philly fans are the worst. I went to a Giants/Eagles game a few years ago in Philly wearing a Giants jersey. Nowhere else would I have walked in with a rain slicker and an umbrella on a sunny day, anticipating having crap thrown at me. That same day I saw a fe eagles fans spit in the face of a kid wearing a Giants jersey who couldnt have been older then like 12 in front of his dad and all his dad could do was watch or get his butt kicked. Eagles fans are by far the worst
I would have taken the kid tot he parking lot, put him in the car, then went back and beat the crap out of the guy. F that.
Yeah wearing a division rival jersey in Philly will probably get that for you. What did you expect a pat on the back and smiles? I'll agree throwing things is way over the top, but there are always a few jackass fans everywhere. I've seen the same thing and I was at a Ravens/Giants game - in Baltimore - wearing no jersey, and I was 13ish years old. Another example: There's a baseball team that did the same thing (threw beer on Shane Victorino). It's not just Philadelphia fans that do it. For whatever reason people just point to Philly as being "the worst". Hell, soccer fans start riots
