Don't they ever learn? Once again we are the underdogs this week.Which I love. Apparently The Dolphins will not be able to run, pass, or defend at all in this weeks match up against the Minnesota Super-Vikings. It is apparently"too tall an order" for the lowly 1-0 fins. Exhibit A.http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks Exhibit B.http://www.nfl.com/videos/miami-dolphins/09000d5d81a9d0d2/Weather-update-Dolphins-vs-the-Vikings lol, even the weather guys is against us. Exhibit C.http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/NFL-Week-2-picks-and-predictions-091410 Exhibit D.http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/pickem Exhibit E.http://blogs.wsj.com/dailyfix/2010/09/17/the-fix-picks-the-nfl-week-2-2/ Thats just a couple, but you get the picture. Now I know we don't look like the best team in the league, but this week especially, we are getting dogged. The only love I could find was from Cbs sporstline. I'm just trying to prepare my "I told you so" line, it has to have the right tone. Prepare your voice for this Sunday, howling puts a lot of strain it.
I can see why they would be so confident picking Minny tho. Stellar at home and the fact of them being 0-2 would be a disaster so early in the season.
I know their at home record is undefeated since 08, that is good, I will admit it. But the fact the all these announcers say they will win because it will be bad if they lose is a idiotic argument. Of course its bad if you lose, "We play to win the game". Just because the title Minnesota Vikings 0-2 is horrific does not mean it won't happen lol.
Remember that streak the Pats had that we broke? Remember that time the Bears were streaking into the Playoffs (do you, I wasn't born yet)? Well, just another streak we need to put over our knee and spank.
I have reasons for being certain that the dolphins will shock the "pundits" the same way they were shocked when the Jests opened up hot last yr and beat the Pastriots early in the year. That 08 Jest team was really good for most of the season, and Sparano was a rook HC, and we still should have swept them. Nolan is also far more creative than DC Pasqualoni was, and we added Dansby and Wake and Misi and just much more speed on Defense.
it's a road game against a team many still believe could make the SB .... how on earth should we NOT be underdogs ...... the good news - is that if we can contain AP ..... we can very much win this game ....
Of course the Vikings are the statistical pick. What is it now 8 or 9 straight at home? With Rice out and Harvin dinged up they don't look so tough to me.
