The Packers lost their main running back in Ryan Grant for the season. Do you think they would be willing to part with a 2nd rounder for Ricky Williams? Would you do this knowing Ricky may only have a year or two left?

I'd love for Ronnie to get most of the carries and have Hilliard/Polite get their 5-10 carries.

I'd call them just to ask what they would be willing to part with....I know the Pack can still throw the ball like crazy, but Grant's injury kills their running game. I just picked up their backup RB (Brandon Jackson) in my fantasy league. I wouldn't move Ricky if they offered us a 3rd rounder or less, just because Ronnie is coming off several injuries.

There's this guy called Brandon Jackson. They like him a lot.

The Packers aren't trading for anyone, and no one—not even Oakland—is trading a 2nd round pick for Ricky Williams.

Woooot!! I picked up Jackson in my Fantasy league after Grant hurt himself!! Started CJ Spiller and still won last week due to Hakeem Nicks!!! Now I have a legit RB to counter with Pierre Thomas..

No I wouldn't trade him for a second round pick. With RB's injury history I don't think you could trust Hilliard/Cobbs to be the primary back should RB get hurt again.

They are lukewarm on him, fumbling issues. If he shows good hands the next few weeks then they wont make a move, but if he coughs it up a few times, they will be looking for help.

    They already signed RB depth.

But you don’t keep a guy as your primary backup if you don’t like him.

They like his running ability and potential, they don't like his inability to hold the football. With Grant out, they will certainly give him the chance to succeed or fail. I'm only talking about a trade should he go down that latter path.
