Man F our receivers. Jacory is leading you down the field on one leg and you take a small hit and can't hold on.
It's unbearably frustrating to be losing because our guys are beating themselves. We're giving them the game.
I hated losing like this. I'd rather just get flat out raped 42-0 with no complaints. To leave so many points on the board is what will haunt me....
ACC Title or this is a major failure of a season. We'll have FSU, UNC, and Va Tech at home, too. We've got to be the clear favorites right now to win it.
Agreed. They came to play, capitalized off our many mistakes, and didn't make many mistakes of their own. Well, they tried to make a ton of mistakes but our defensive backs are defensive backs for a reason.
2 questions real quick: 1. Is there anyway we can just have Sam Spence line up and throw the ball on offense? 2. How is OSU's place-kicker 27 years old and a former pro-soccer player??
I told myself after that Wake Forest game last year that I'll never count out Jacory Harris.... but in the back of my mind I'm also telling myself, well, that was Wake Forest and this is Ohio State. I definitely believe in miracles though.
No offense to the U, but the ACC as a whole looks like the special olympics at the moment (strictly out-of-conference).
Yeah but they made those plays. We dropped balls but their DB's caught them. They dialed up the DE/OLB exchange which saw Cameron Heyward get an INT. They blocked a FG. We messed up and they capitalized on it. We shot ourselves in the foot but lets not take anything away from Ohio State. Anyone who thinks they are not a damn good team or they did not WIN this game, they are letting their hate and/or homer view get in the way.
You're right.... what a mess. Seriously, Kansas and James Madison? I'd of never expected it. As long as we can win at Clemson I'm picking this team to win the ACC. Ohio State is by far the toughest team we'll face this season, and we're also on the road here. They can go two ways from this game.... A) Be stupid; completely implode and admit that the sky is suddenly a bit closer to the ground B) Be smart; learn from this experience and get better
Aldarius Johnson has been a disappointing wide receiver for Miami. His freshman year, he was very talented but he has not done anything to build on that since his first year.
I wish he'd do that more. At least get out of the pocket and make throws. It causes the defense to go crazy.
It comes down to capitalizing on mistakes. Miami could have had what 4 interceptions? Ohio St made the plays they needed too. Miami will probably get some points now that Ohio St is in safe mode. Force some turnovers and Miami is right back in this.
Despite Jacory's best efforts at a throw right at a defender, it's a touchdown pass for the Cane offense.
So basically Miami dug a themselves into a hole. Ohio State helped with a shovel, but Miami has an excavator.
